I have an idea for another building for my planet: a Maglev line. However, I need some help. As someone not entirely familiar with the game mechanics, I’m wondering which approach is better: just a single terrain piece (a section of track plus a wrecked carriage), or—as shown on the map I’ve included—creating a full-length track (with gaps) and using magnets on cart that I can freely move around the map? I’d like to know how this would work in terms of *Kill Team* and *Necromunda*, as well as your thoughts on the concept and aesthetics. Finally, last pic is a photo of the terrain pieces I’ve already built.

Just the painting and base left, and it is ready to play! :)

How much time do you guys spend on preps? Do you actually have that kinda time or prepare everything -as you go- during terrain build?

My village on the planet where the colony ship crashed is starting to take shape.

I’ve added tarp-covered crates to the two existing buildings.

Next up: a hotel built out of cryo-pods :D

This is the second piece of terrain I’ve created. A Water/Watch Tower built from an old speeder or sky-drone. It’s intended for playing Kill Team. I want to build an entire small town—partly inspired by *Firefly*, partly my own creation. The setting is a world where a colony ship crashed tens of thousands of years ago; parts of the wreckage were repurposed into buildings.

It’s my first time making terrain, so there’s still plenty of room for improvement, but you have to start somewhere :)
