I’ve applied to several school social work jobs in the past month and have only landed one interview. I had my interview last week, was told they’d be making decisions early this week, and I haven’t heard anything. I know it may be too soon to tell but my references haven’t been contacted either. I didn’t feel great about the interview but was really excited about the position/school.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’m feeling so discouraged. Ive heard some people say schools don’t reach out until August… I have 2 years of experience as a children’s therapist and am working on my SSW courses. Am I just not qualified enough? Anything I should do differently? TIA

I am doing my first ever SSW interview at an elementary school this Thursday. I’m extremely nervous about it! I have been working on my post MSW school social work courses since January and am in the process of completing my assessments class. I’ve also been working as a child therapist for the past 2 years. I don’t feel qualified but have been encouraged to apply and see what happens.

Feeling most nervous about these pieces:
I. Participate in IEPT committees and conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of children suspected of having an emotional
impairment or on the Autism Spectrum
J. Collaborate with the IEPT committee in determining eligibility and services for other students
K. Maintain data to report on students’ IEP goals and objectives quarterly
L. Participate in student evaluations for special education
M. Assist in the design and implementation of classroom and individual behavior intervention plans

Anything I should know or prep for? Any general interview tips! TIA! 💗

Has anyone tried combining super milk with sleepy scents? I love the creamy lemon/vanilla scent of the super milk hair primer and am wondering if it would combine well with the sleepy shower gel/lotjon :)

Hi everyone! I’m trying to choose which hair primer to purchase: super milk or sticky dates (and looking for any other reccs). For context I love using the banana shampoo and conditioner, sticky dates shower gel, turmeric latte massage bar, and super milk body spray. I typically love sweet, caramel-y, nutty, honey like smells. Anything cozy and sweet :)

Any recommendations for hair primers (or any other products that I may like) would be appreciated! TIA ☺️🍌🍮🍫💗
