Thoughts on the "centaur village" area/south of Waneka Lake

Hi all! My husband and I are moving to Colorado and are loving the idea of the Louisville/Lafayette area! I've seen a few houses in this area of Lafayette and I was wondering if anyone could help describe what this neighborhood is like?
