Boulder woman loots micro bakery farm stand in Loveland.

A woman was recorded looting the farmstand TWICE and driving away in her Land Rover in Loveland. The owner of Gone Astray Goods posted videos of the theft on her business Instagram and Facebook pages.

Hopefully by identifying her we can prevent further thefts from our small business owners.

BOULDER COUNTY SMALL BUSINESSES BEWARE.

Do you tip....

What industries do you guys feel it’s actually appropriate to tip in anymore?

I feel like lately every single place asks for a tip, no matter what the service is. Some situations I totally understand and don’t mind at all. Other times, I honestly question whether tipping even makes sense there.

For example, I got a 30-minute massage today, and when it came time to pay, the screen didn’t even really give an option to not tip. It just immediately went to “what percentage would you like to add?” That honestly bothered me more than the tip itself. If I would’ve had cash on me, I probably would’ve canceled the card transaction and just paid the exact amount because it felt so forced. I don’t like feeling pressured into it. A tip should feel appreciated, not expected automatically before you can even finish checking out.Curious where everyone else stands on this now because tipping culture feels completely different than it used to.

Overnight Parking at Walmart

Hi guys

I'll likely need to start sleeping in my car a few times a month. I've heard the Walmart here allows overnight parking, can anyone confirm this? Theres a page that lists if certain Walmarts allow overnight parking but this one was last updated in 2008.

Thanks!

Anyone have information about the police activity behind the Medtronic office on 5/11?

I work in the office building and yesterday it seemed evident that a body had been found in the open space east of the building. Lots of uniformed police were here early, a white windowless van pulled up, marked police cars left and apparent forensic teams moved in.

I left the office before anything was removed but I've heard rumors (and it seemed obvious at the time) that a body had been found.

EDIT: Boulder County Sheriff's Office

> On Monday, May 11, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Boulder County Communications received a 911 call reporting a deceased person in a field approximately 300 yards east of the Medtronic building off Medtronic Drive in Lafayette. The scene is in unincorporated Boulder County near Rock Creek Trail.

> Members of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau, Boulder County Coroner’s Office, Lafayette Police Department and Boulder County Parks and Open Space Rangers responded and remain on scene investigating.

> There is no known threat to the public.

> The investigation is being conducted jointly by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and the Boulder County Coroner’s Office. The Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.

> This case is documented under Boulder County Sheriff’s Office case number 26-02163.

Coal Creek & 120th St Underpass

Anyone know what the status of the Coal Creek path underpass at 120th is?

I assumed that when they rebuilt the bridge last year that they would also fix up the underpass, but it has remained barricaded and partially flooded still. Not seeing the logic as to why they wouldn’t do both projects at once when they had the opportunity.

The adjacent Rock Creek underpass floods occasionally but stays maintained and open.

There seems to be more traffic on 120th all the time, and new housing going up in the area, so the below grade crossing would be nice to have again.

Thoughts on the "centaur village" area/south of Waneka Lake

Hi all! My husband and I are moving to Colorado and are loving the idea of the Louisville/Lafayette area! I've seen a few houses in this area of Lafayette and I was wondering if anyone could help describe what this neighborhood is like?

Thanks!

Helios Station apts Lafayette CO

Hi, I was wondering if anyone who has lived here experienced paranormal activity here as I had. I was young 6 years old in the year of 2003 . I have haunting memories living in here. I always wondered if only my family went through it . Place still gives me chills when I pass by .

Needlecraft Meet Up!

If you do a needlecraft like needlepoint, embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, etc, come join me at the Lafayette Library to craft together! There aren’t really any needlepoint groups up here that meet at times that work for people who work, so I decided to start one! Would love to see you at one of the meet ups this summer!

And I’m hanging out at the Lafayette Library today until 12:30 if you want to stop by!
