Shock angle

Messed around with the suspension on the RMX 2.5 classic kit I built a few weeks back. Was spinning out very easily at the local track. Brought the front shocks in and more straight and angled the rears right out. Adjusted the ride height and droop accordingly now it feels way more planted and it has more body roll to get that traction to the rear outer wheel. Loving it. Will definitely be ordering some new shocks as the standard ones need rebuilding frequently as they leak. But pretty happy with a pretty much stock chassis. Local track is Vinyl garage tile. This is my backroom with just carpet squares. Shows off the weight transition abit better.

Back to the Track

It's been too long. Haven't been drifting at a track on years. Good people. Good times. Lotsa slides.

Drift clip points

With the help of RoadsideRC's Drift Clip point I've made a prototype Light up confirmation of a clip. Using a timed relay, a microswitch, a 12v tool battery and some leds. The light stay on time is completely adjustable from a flash to a few seconds, even minutes. Will most likely add a tall pole and have the LEDs mounted behind some text like "DRIFT CLIP". The best part is they are completely portable and able to setup anywhere.
