Pre-employment allegation of sexual assault against first year analyst
I’m asking about how banks typically handle this, not whether anyone ‘deserves’ to be fired. If a first-year analyst is accused of serious pre-employment sexual misconduct and the allegation is supported by contemporaneous documentation, how seriously would HR/compliance take it? If they thought it was more likely than not true, how would they weigh the conduct against the fact that it happened years earlier and before employment? Thanks for any insight.
Edit: Charges were not pressed, but there is credible documentation. I am considering whether or not to bring it to his firms attention.
