Is it too late...?
I have unilateral micropthalmia and have lived all my life (27 y/o) without a prosthetic because none of my optometrists seemed to push it, even as an adult. I do wonder if its bc if the lack of ocularists in our state. Anyway, now I'm kind of wondering if I should get one. My affected eye grew to be a little smaller than the other. I googled and it seems like insurance would cover it but I feel like I'll get denied because I'm too old now & my eye has kinda settled in. Should I try asking my optometrist about it?
