What makes something fast fashion

I'm very curious about fast fashion as I've recently been more involved in protecting the environment. I live in a small city and the only stores we have here are big fast fashion corporations and one value village. I try to thrift the majority of my clothes but it's not always easy. I'm 15 and so my mom buys my clothes for me, I usually insist we go to value village but recently shes been wanting me to buy clothes from urban behaviour. I personally hate spending my parents money but I'm not allowed a job so I always agree because its her money not mine. When we do go to the fast fashion clothing stores, I always hang onto the clothes for usally 2 years and try to repair them when I can as well as donate them. So I'm wondering if its really fast fashion if I hold onto the clothes and donate them. I know the clothing is also bad for the environment but I don't really understand how and it would be great if someone could explain :)

How can I get over my fear of needles?

I'm 15 and I never used to be scared of needles until I was around 10. I had a bad experience when I was younger but really it was small. The person giving me a vaccine had left it in my arm for a long time. Besides that I have no idea where my phobia could have come from but it's gotten worse as I've aged. For instance, my mom booked me an appointment with our new family doctor. I was a little nervous to meet her, but other then that everything went well until she said I should get blood work done. I started crying in her office and when I got into my moms car I started hyperventilating and almost passed out. Normally I just would have said no to the blood work but I've been having some health problems and my doctor said this was a must. Now the health problems are not life or death, just hurting my quality of life slightly. My mom has never seen me freak out like that be-four so she just told me to stop crying and that I'm fine. She stopped to get gas and when I was in the car (attempting) to calm down I remembered my step-mom said I should ask for a prescription for something to soothe my anxiety. My mom is very agents that kind of thing which is funny because shes on anxiety medication. I want to ask her if I could get a prescription but I think she'll get upset with me or call me dramatic. Ive tried the numbing patches and it has never helped. Even talking about the blood work with my dad I was holding back tears. I really don't want this to affect my health but I don't think i'll ever be able to get over this fear. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could say to my mom? Or just in general, thank you.

Does BonPatron help practice french grammar?

Recently I've decided to ditch AI as I was using it to make french quizzes to improve my grammar. When I was in grade five our teacher always got us to use BonPatron and I'm wondering if it's helping me or just wasting my time. If it is not worth using what are other ways I could improve my grammar? I've taken up reading for 15 mins in french be-four bed and I've noticed an improvement in my grammar and vocab.

What are my rights to my work after getting published?

I recently submitted some poetry of mine to a small magazine and was very surprised to find out they are wanting to publish it. I'm not sure if this means the poetry is no longer mine or if they have full rights to it. Furthermore, i'm a minor and i've heard my rights may be different from non-minors.

Do i take English 20-1 over the summer?

For some context I’m an “academic student”. I’m taking all three sciences (bio, physics and chem) plus calculus and I’m in French immersion as well as band. This makes my schedule impossible. Meaning to be able to take all three sciences plus band and stay in French I’ll have physics 20-1, math 20-1, French 20-1 and English 20-1 (swapping with band every other day) in the same semester. I will have zeros spares unless I take English 20-1 over the summer. Now I’m already enrolled in English 20-1 and I started today but the course work is brutal. I’m doing this by myself meaning my textbook is my teacher and this “teacher” is very old. What I mean by this is the course is 24 years old and has not been updated. Furthermore, my final is worth 40% of my grade. Had I known this before I went to register and payed 100 dollars I would not have done it or would have thought more about it. Im extremely clueless what to do here. I have someone lined up to help me get ready for the final but it feels very overwhelming. Any suggestions?

How can I improve my grammar and sentence structure.

Hi! for some context I am a tenth grade student in french immersion in Alberta Canada. French is a massive part of who I am. Be four my grandma passed, she requested I graduate in french immersion as it was her first language. I am an honours student , I have 90s in every single class except french. My teacher tells me its my grammar and sentence structure that is taking so many marks off. Now id like to say I got a 65 percent on my last essay in french class. For another perspective in english class i've gotten 100% on every single essays i've wrote. I was wondering what I can do to improve my grammar and everything that goes with it. This may seem small but the stress is taking a big toll on my mental health. The reason being is my future carrier requires me to have high 90s and french is dragging it down. I also have my b1 in delf which I unfortunately got 11 out of 25 on the writing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What can I do to increase my chances at getting a PhD in clinical psychology?

For context I am currently a grade ten student in french immersion. For around two years, i've known psychology is my passion and have loved everything about it. Last summer, I made it my mission to pick a job in the psychology field and neuropsychology peaked my interest. I decided it would be perfect to get a PhD in clinical psychology specialising in neuropsychology because I could work in both a hospital and lab . My problem is i'm terrified I'll get my masters and have to wait three years to get into a PhD program. The reason for this is to me, being stuck with a masters where I can basically only do therapy sounds so scary. Being a therapist in my mind would be bleak (bit of a contradiction I know). I'm currently volunteering at a hospital every week as well as maintaining an overall average of 91.82%. On top of this i'm in band and as mentioned french immersion as well as fast tracking some sciences and taking the best math classes I can. As the title says, is their anything I can do as of now to help my chances?
