Impulse by because it’s a great deal

EDIT: impulse BUY because it’s a good deal.
My last post disappeared, so here’s a quicker version

I’ve been itching for an SG. I’m in no rush. I should wait for the right deal on the two that I really want. Which is are used SG in dark cherry. I’m a huge Soundgarden fan I love the Guild in white with gold hardware. In third place would be the LTD. But the LTD is the 1000 deluxe with the Evertune bridge and EMG pickups. I really like there take on the SG. I just don’t like the color.

My question is, am I making a mistake? I just feel like I shouldn’t pass up on the deal. 45% off. They are $100 more on the used market and the bridge and pickups are almost worth the amount of the guitar. The thing is, I may fall in love with it and if I don’t Sweetwater has prepaid return shipping for $10. So worse comes to worse it’s a $10 experiment

Excited to see what ToneX One Plus midi can do

Super excited! Waiting on the ToneX one +. Im super excited. I have the original, it has amazing amps, just not the best control. They added some simple effects that are useable. But paired with the HX Stomp! It IS basically the “Stomp” version of Line 6 Stadium. The Stadium currently has ALL of the OG Helix effects. The original TX1 + HXS was already great. But with the ADDED MIDI CONTROLS! I hate this term. But it IS A GAME CHANGER!

I’m looking for recommendations on useful items for guitar setup/maintenance/modding. I have a SG copy coming. I would love to order tuners. Price is way better them Amazon, but not sure what’s coming on the guitar. I’ve had good results with Guker & Wilkinson parts on cheaper guitars.

-Pickup recommendations?
-Fret files?
-Knockoff strings, not because I’m trying to go cheap on strings. There usful before a guitar is finished because Im most likely to take things apart again.
-Pickgaurd sheets to experiment and get some practice making custom pickguards. I’m going to look for Dremel attachments. Something to bevel the ends.
-hardware for pots/output jacks/switches. I also have got into building pedals. Nothing worse than losing a nut or washer.

Mouser missed some items in my order, refunded me, and is waiving shipping on the reorder.
I’m already adding a 430v .47uf cap for a test probe and a Panasonic TQ2-6V relay so I can have a 1/4 jack to plug in footswitch both for a breakout box setup.
What are some genuinely useful Mouser parts you like to keep around. I’m trying to add stuff that’s useful.
