ToG and ACOTAR connection??
ok so im on like my third re read of throne of glass and i had never connected the dots until now, but in empire of storms when deanna takes over aelins body in skulls bay, rowan described her eyes as “turquoise ringed with silver“ and the light she emitted was “cold white light. tendrils flickered - silver flames”…. silver flames sounds familiar. AND THEN from aelins pov on the next page, she described her body being taken over as deanna “walking through the temporary gate hanging between her breasts and seizing her body as if it were a mask to wear”…. MASK?? not really sure if this has any bearing, but this sounds soooo familiar to how nesta changes when she puts on the mask, becoming death and having some other worldly, emotionless being take over her body, similar to how aelin felt with deanna. it’s been a minute since i read acotar so i may be missing something else but this connection seems wild to me
