Just started DP, how do I not drain myself but also get excellent grades?

I keep seeing posts on here about how the IB ruined people and drained away all their energy, left them "dead" and depressed afterwards, and always in a state of stress even long after exams. Their advice was to live a little and not let the DP take over.

How do I "live a little" and not stress if I need good grades? I cant see how I can let my hair down and maintain excellent grades.

What is a good route for me to take to get to the FBI?

Hello, im currently 17 years old in 11th grade and want to get into the FBI when im older.

Here is some relevant info about me:

I was born to Middle Eastern parents and can speak the arabic dialect of their country to an OK extent (I can understand alot but can speak less, reading is not great).

Im planning to study political science in college with a minor in something like arabic or middle eastern studies. I plan to go to college in Washington DC or Virginia.

Any advice?

CSS Critique?

Hey guys! Last time I was here I got some awesome feedback from some SEALs and after applying that I swam my first 8:30 pace ever across 2 laps! Thanks alot for all the help and support and if theres any more advice you have it would be greatly appreciated! Also sorry for the bad video quality lol, let me know if I should re-record it more clearly

(NOTE: This is in an 11.8 meter pool so I tried to hold back a little on the wall kicks to focus on CSS)

4 citizenships and an international background hoping for a TS/SCI

Hi everyone,

I'm 16 now and I'm trying to plan ahead. My goal is to attend college in the U.S. after graduating high school, then enlist in the Army around age 22 and hopefully give myself a shot at joining special operations. I'm trying to get a realistic idea of how my background might affect my ability to obtain a Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Here's my situation:

  • Born in the United States.
  • U.S. citizen by birth.
  • Also a citizen of Canada, Morocco, and Lebanon through my parents (mother was born in Morocco and later immigrated to Canada, father was born in Lebanon and later immigrated to Canada).
  • All of my non-U.S. citizenships were acquired automatically through my parents, I never applied for them on my own.
  • I currently possess U.S., Canadian, and Moroccan passports. I've never possessed or used a Lebanese passport.
  • My parents worked for the World Bank, so I grew up partly in the U.S. and partly in several African countries.
  • I'm currently attending an international school in Africa and will graduate at 18 before going to college in the U.S.

Foreign relatives:

  • Grandparents, an uncle, and cousins in Morocco.
  • Two aunts and their families in the UAE.
  • One aunt in France.
  • One aunt in Belgium, with cousins living in various EU countries.
  • One grandmother, uncle, and cousins in Canada.
  • My grandmother's sister is the only relative I know of who still lives in Lebanon, but I've never really spoken to her.

As far as my connections to them:

  • I have normal family relationships with them. We occasionally communicate on WhatsApp, and I see some of them when visiting family during winter or summer vacations.
  • I don't send or receive money.
  • I don't own property overseas.
  • I have no business interests overseas.
  • I've never worked for a foreign government, and I don't receive any foreign government benefits or pensions.
  • No one in my family currently works for a foreign government or military. One uncle completed mandatory military service in Lebanon in the late 1990s.
  • No one has ties to terrorism or extremist organizations.

Other background:

  • No criminal history.
  • Never used illegal drugs.
  • No alcohol-related issues.
  • No financial problems or debt.
  • No compulsory military obligations to Morocco or Lebanon.

Can I expect a secret and ts/sci?

Is it worth going air force special reconnaissance?

Is it worth going air force special reconnaissance?

I heard that since their existence they have been sidelined from the SOF world, extremely underutilized, and irrelevant.

Ive been recommended by some retired SF guys that if I wanna do recon I should just go Marine Recon, SF, SEALs, or CCT and that nobody in the community respects AFSR nor uses AFSR.

Is this true?

Struggling with push ups

Hello, im 16 years old and my long term goal for push ups is 100 in 1 set.

Im currently at around 35-40 push ups max in 1 set, I have been at this plateau for a while after initially making a jump from the 20-25 rep range. Does anyone have a program I can use or something that worked well for them to get them into the higher rep ranges of 70+?

I prefer grease the groove methods but havent found one that works. I dont like maxing out and going to failure often (however if thats what needs to be done, then so be it).

Struggling with push ups

Currently at around 35-40 push ups max, ive been at this plateau for a while. Does anyone have a program I can use?

Im 6'1 and have long arms, should I do my push ups wider? Right now im doing them at about a 40 degree angle between my body and elbow (if that makes sense).
