As a first timer, would you suggest taking the ferry to Kaibo? Or take a car to see more of the island? Starting point will be GT.
If you suggest a car, what stops should I take on the way? Best time to leave?
It’ll be my first time going with family and small kids.
Is the One GT Hotel in Georgetown worth booking or should I stick to SMB area? I’ll have a car, but I want to maximize my time there given that it’s a short trip.
Also, any suggestions of must eat, do, or see is much appreciated.
My last post I just wanted to know what places to avoid. I’ve been to several restaurants and so far it’s all been mediocre or subpar.
So my question is if you can only pick one restaurant to go back to with great tasting food, what would it be (whether it be for breakfast, lunch, and or dinner)?
I’ll start. Bel Mare has decent food, amazing service albeit overpriced.

There’s plenty of posts of what to do, where to eat, and where to stay. But I would like to know quite the opposite. What restaurants, hotels, etc to avoid due to bad experience or just wasn’t great?
