Ontario nursing new grads who went to work in the US—how was the process?

Hi everyone! I’m a new nursing graduate from Ontario interested in working in the US, and I’d love to hear from other Ontario or Canadian nurses who made the move as new grads.
How did the process go for you, from applying to getting licensed and being able to start working? Did you apply directly to hospitals or go through a recruiter or agency? Which company did you use, and would you recommend them? How was the moving process? So far I’ve been looking at Texas, New York but open to other places.
I’m also curious about which states and hospitals hire Canadian new grads, whether you needed experience first, and how long the whole process took. If you used an agency, were there any fees or contract requirements to watch out for?
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated. Thank you!

Just took my NCLEX, shut off at 85

I just took my NCLEX, and it’s definitely not what I expected, I shut off at 85 on the dot. It somehow felt more easy, but I’m not sure that’s a good thing. I used uworld, scored low-borderline on my tests, but decided to go test anyways. I also noticed my screen would sometimes glitch differently after every question, not sure if the ones that glitched over 2s were the questions I got wrong, but I guess I’m wondering if anybody else had the same experience. I also finished about 1h30-40 mins in.
