Does anyone know where our recycling and compost goes? Very curious to find out!

“Hired” a couple to paint a few rooms in my house and they did a terrible job - do I pay anyway? We verbally agreed to $1,500 cash and I also clarified that it shouldn’t be more than $1,800. While painting they asked if I wanted the trim painted to which I said yes, no discussion of how much they would charge. When they finished and still at my house I had a look at the rooms and immediately saw many things wrong, like 30+. They said they want to make me happy so asked me to point out all of the issues and they would fix them but then I had to leave. I left them at my house (probably very dumb I realize) and they fixed some things but there’s still a lot plus I had to clean up a lot as they left rooms dusty and dirty. There’s still many issues and the wife has said she’ll come back to fix them if I can assure her she’ll get paid to which I haven’t responded. I don’t trust that everything will be fixed adequately. What do I do?
TLDR: do I pay couple for their terrible painting job? Verbally agreed to price, say they’ll fix issues but there’s so many.

Looking to make a few more mom friends! On mat leave with my second daughter, now 1. Also have a 4 year-old daughter that is in daycare a few days a week. Or any young kid group recommendations? TIA!

Beware of the owner Nadia treating staff terribly, including not paying staff. Not a good person. Multiple sources have come forward. She is not liked or respected in the Nanaimo dental community. Please do not support.
