Help with symptoms
I’ve started having this triangle shape in my eyes (dots in the left eye, and rays looking ones in my right eye). First I would see them occasionally when running, then they would also appear when I walk for some time, then just randomly, not depending on light conditions or activity, and now I just see them all the time - sometimes brighter that they obstruct the view, sometimes almost gone, sometimes as a cross shape covering the whole central view. There are also some other particles and halos that I drew, but they are not that annoying.
Been to an eye doctor and retina specialist - eyes are completely healthy.
Done MRIs of a brain - all clear except for a pituitary gland microadenoma (1mm x 5mm x 9mm), doesn’t seem to touch the optic chiasm.
Currently waiting for a neuro ophthalmologist appointment.
I do have migraines with aura and currently on lamotrigine 75 that helped my aura immensely but made no difference to this thing.
Has anyone dealt with something similar, or could it just be a VSS symptom? Hoping to find out at least something, as it’s been exhausting and worrying :(
