Accusations of Misuse of Classified
Hey All,
So I’m in the middle of working through a massive PITA. An ex girlfriend of mine from years ago resurfaced in another state and filed a protective order against me.
Basically she has been under investigation a lot since being in the military, and blames me for all of them. She alleges in her protective order petition that I’ve been using my access to classified information to gather information about her career so I can launch investigations on her.
The order was granted to her, and I have a lawyer in this other state and we are appealing. I self reported the second I got the phone call from the sheriff’s office in that state to serve me with papers. There are not allegations of violence or accompanying criminal charges this is civil protective order.
Is there any way I can prove to the investigators on my next re-up that I’m not behind these investigations into her and I haven’t been querying her in national security databases? She apparently tried to report me to Army CID too and they declined the case.
This is very exhausting an I am never dating again.
