Why does India's education system restrict Class 11 and 12 students to fixed streams instead of allowing flexible subject combinations like many countries abroad?

Hey does anybody know the reason why in India students cannot freely choose different subjects like history + physics + biology + maths or cs+maths+economics+geography like many students may like social sciences along with science and some students may don't want to study certian science subjects , same case with commerce subjects some dont want to study accountancy but want to study business studies.

In many boards like IGCSE,American High Schools under College Board,IB,GCSE etc enable the students to mix different subjects upon reaching India's equivalent of class 11/12

Nep 2020 mentions this idea but not implemented till now except for selecting 1 additional subject in big CBSE schools .I also personally thinks that current structure will lead to streamism and establishes superiority in one subject .

Also tell what would be your perspective on this policy being implemented ?

I said this about cbse, icse, state boards not foreign boards operating in India.

GUYS WHAT TO DO WITH MY BROTHER ? (SEE BELOW)

Guys I am 19 M , my brother who is 15 behaves like this with me

1.Whenever I pass in front of him or he comes near to me he makes noises like "oooooyah", "enriqueeeeee", "zoooooomba"," boooooombaaas". I know these are weird sounds but these are the some of the many sounds that he keeps making .

2.He just simply jumps for eg in his own study room or in front of computer , at first I thought it was some sort of exercise or some sort of childish thing but later he also started making sounds while jumping . Now he is running around the house along with jumping and making the sounds which is really annoying for me .Whenever he jumps its making so much noise also.

3.Whenever I study , eat food ,watch tv or do something dude just stares me and make a long sound like "ooooooooooohhh". This goes on for like 1 -2 minutes .At first I usually laughed it off but now its becoming annoying . Sometimes when I was studying he peeped through the door and stared at me .

I talked this matter with my parents but they are kinda not paying much attention to this and is rubbing this matter off.

Now whenever he does this kind of things I am not giving him much attention to not encourage him .

Is this common with people who have brothers ? .What should I do in this situation ?
