wheel bearings

Hey all, just packed my wheel bearings for the first time. google is insistent the the correct way is to seat the bearing (already done) back off the nut, torque it to about 27 foot pounds and then back it off 45 degrees. i have always been taught to do finger-tight on these wheel bearings, and mine were finger tight when i pulled them off. what is the correct method?

Wiring pt 2

Hey guys, just made a post about not knowing where wires go. since this post, i disconnected the previous owners old mess and this is what i am left with. does anyone know how i should proceed? how these are wired? or if i should just buy a new head unit? if so, can someone give me a cheap one and instructions on how to wire it? this is my second vehicle and i know NOTHING about radios at all.

Hey guys, just wondering where everyone's operating temp on their coolant gauge is. at the moment, mine goes up to about 7/8 of the way to the middle mark, before dropping down to 3/4 and sitting there for the rest of my drive. i want to make sure im not running under temperature. i havent had any affect on gas mileage, just about 22-23 mpgs. (believe my voltage regulator or the thing on the back of the dashboard is broken, ive bled that system four times for 45 minutes and the gas gauge is the same way). its a 1992 2.4, the clusters change from 94 and on if i remember correctly

Hey all, the cooling system on my truck has been quite the pita. but recently my coolant has started spilling out of my reservoir in the little like pressure relief thing. i have put TWO thermostats on this truck as well as two water pumps (first thermostat i put on was faulty and killed two pumps). it has never overheated, and it only happens on my way home from work after ive been driving a little while. i just put a new radiator cap on as well. can anyone help? my headgasket isnt blown either.
