nspire help

Hi guys, does anyone know a good beginner-to-advanced guide for learning the TI-Nspire CX? I’m doing IB Math AA SL and I want to become really comfortable with it for Paper 2, especially things like sequences and series, binomial expansion, solving equations, graphing, and finance questions.

Ideally I’m looking for a YouTube playlist, website, PDF, or course that teaches the calculator systematically rather than just individual tricks. Thanks! (PLS HELP ME OUT SO I COULD SAVE MY MATH MARKKKK)

How can I maximize my SAT score by September?

Hi everyone! I’m taking the SAT in September and hoping to score in the high 1500s, ideally as close to 1600 as possible.

I’m still new to the SAT, so I would really appreciate advice from high scorers about:

  • What topics I should study
  • The best free resources
  • How to structure my study schedule
  • How often I should take practice tests
  • Common mistakes to avoid

I would strongly prefer free resources. However, if there is one paid resource that genuinely made a major difference for you, please mention it.

I’m looking for constructive advice, so please keep the responses positive. Thank you!

How should I prepare before IB DP1 for HL Bio, HL Chem, HL English, SL Math AA, SL French, and SL Econ?

Hi everyone,

I’m starting IB DP1 soon and I’m trying to prepare during the summer without overdoing it or wasting time on things that won’t actually help.

My subjects are:

HL Biology
HL Chemistry
HL English
SL Math AA
SL French
SL Economics

My goal is to get as close as possible to a 45 predicted, so I want to start DP1 with strong habits and a good foundation. At the same time, I don’t want to spend my whole summer trying to pre-learn the entire syllabus if that is not useful.

A student from the year above shared some materials with me, including biology unit success criteria and a big chemistry practice packet, but I’m not sure how much of it is actually worth doing before school starts.

For people who took similar subjects, especially HL Bio and HL Chem:

What would you recommend doing before DP1 starts?
Which subjects are actually worth preparing for in the summer?
For HL Biology and HL Chemistry, what topics should I make sure I understand early?
Are there any habits, resources, or mistakes you wish you knew about before starting?
How much prep is helpful versus overkill?
For English, French, Math AA SL, and Econ, what small things can I do now that would make DP1 easier?

I’m not looking for shortcuts. I just want to use my time efficiently and avoid preparing in the wrong way.

Thanks!

Do American universities only look at IB predicted scores?

Okay, so basically what I said in the title, I asked my IB coordinator, and she says she hasn't heard of any international university asking for anything else, and it's just IB predicted grades. Some kids from my school got into top Ivy leagues like Yale and other top institutions like MIT. I just want to know if she was correct (she was in a rush, so I'm scared she misinterpreted me), because I heard American universities at all four years, and my school has heavy grade deflation in grades 9 and 10.

Has anyone qualified for a clinical specialty or research poster?

Yeah, basically just the title, and if you have qualified for ILC for either one of those two events, could you either just DM me or comment on this post so I can DM you? I'm pretty lost right now and I want to do one of these events next year.

Teens in health

Hello guys, I didn't apply to Teens in Health this year since I am an alumni (did it last year), but my friend is stressing a lot and he hasn't gotten any results yet. Did everyone get results, or do people who didn't get results just get rejected? Since last year, I remember everybody got results at the same time, but it may be different this year, and also he applied for neuroscience.
