Post Chemo Curls

Post-chemo curls: figuring out my curl type and why my roots stay flatter 🌸
Hi everyone! I’ve always had wavy hair, but since chemo, it’s grown back much curlier. I’m learning how to style this new texture and would love some advice!
I think I have a mix of mostly 3A curls with some tighter, possibly 3B ringlets—does that look right from the photos?
The sides and ends form spirals, but the top stays flatter near my scalp and curls more toward the ends. Is that normal for this curl pattern/length, or could my products or styling technique be contributing?

My routine, in order:
Shampoo
Conditioner
Leave-in conditioner
Ouidad VitalCurl+ Curl Defining Mousse
Curlsmith Hydro Style Flexi Jelly
I’d love suggestions for getting more lift and definition near the roots and helping the curls form consistently. Does using both mousse and gel make sense for my hair, or should I simplify? Any application, brush-styling, or drying tips for short curls would be really helpful.
If you’ve had post-chemo curls, I’d also love to hear what worked for you. Thank you! 💕

Car camping and food storage

I am going car camping for the first time. How do you guys store food while you sleep in the car? Issues with wildlife smelling the food and coming near??
