Hi everyone!

I’m very new to English Roses and got my first one this spring! This is Carding Mill and she was blooming like the pictures until this bloom. I’m not sure if this is normal, has anyone seen anything like this before?

She is in a terracotta pot and the first picture was her second bloom. The pinker one was the third bloom/today.

It’s still very beautiful and we are in a terrible heat wave with heavy rain here and there randomly, but I water it when it’s dry.

Just wondering if I need to do anything because I love them and they were pretty pricey (at least to me).

Any thoughts appreciated!

Hi!!

I bought these for my mom back in the Spring to add to her garden and their leaves started to change into this now. My other peonies are fine(except for the powdery mildew on one bush, which is normal for it).

Saw a post on FB about TRV in one of my Peony community groups. Does this look like is?? Just wanted to be sure before I dig her up and return her.

The rain was weighing them down and I figured my mom would want a nice smelling surprise when she got home from work!

I posted a while back asking for advice about my panicles’ pruning and my new macros. A couple people asked for an update so I figured I’d make a post!

Thank you to everyone that helped out. The advice was incredible and I’m happy to say everything is thriving VERY well right now!

I did end up returning the Hi-River variety to the big box store because they were just not super happy. I ended up getting an Endless Summer Reblooming and two Endless Summer Pop Stars! All three are settling in very well and I’ve been making sure to water them everyday because of the heat wave in New England, and I’m probably going to continue because the summers here are always a heat advisory lol.

I don’t think my Quick Fire Fabs will flower this year, which is a bummer, but a lot of people told me to expect that in the second year. However they are very healthy with so much growth!
