Swollen anal skin tag after surgery

So I am day 6 post-op. Since the very beginning I noticed that one of my anal skin tags got swollen and thicker. Is it normal? I am not bleeding. If I don’t take painkillers my butt can hurt pretty much tho. Today I checked my butt and it’s pretty big. I am worried. Control on Wednesday.

Discharge after surgery

It’s so uncomfortable and triggering for me. I don’t deal very well with bodily fluids. Sometimes I wear panty liners but they get inside my cheeks and I’m afraid they irritate my wound. Gauze - I sometimes put it but I don’t keep it all the time cause I am also afraid of irritating my wound. I just feel that my bum is sticky all the time. How do you deal with that?

Sleeping without pants after surgery

What do you think, is it a good idea? I think I do have some discharge however without pants I am sure my wound breathes. What is your experience? If with pants on - should I put gauze between my cheeks for night or nothing? Or panty liner?

Posterior sphincterotomy and fissurectony with electrocoagulation

Hello! So yesterday I had my surgery with which I waited for 6 years. I’m at home now, mostly laying and being cautious about any bigger movements. I didn’t get many recommendations on aftercare though. The doctor left me with gauze between my cheeks so I came back with it home. I removed it though after 3 hours. I am not sure if I should keep putting the gauze or just let it be. I am wearing pants with cotton panty liner just in case. Today I also started to eat but I don’t have much appetite. I eat just some fruit puree from a tube. In the evening I plan to drink my magnesium citrate so that maybe tomorrow I will go gor my first post surgery poop. I am scared. The doctor didn’t give us any recommendations on laxatives etc. I have bern using magnesium citrate for the past couple of months and I must say that it really helped me get my poop smooth although not always. Maybe it depends on stress and what I eat. For the next 2-3 days I am planning to eat mostly puree like fruit/vegetable/carbs food. Even babyfood (i don’t mind really lol). Any words of advice would be appreciated. I got much better advice here on reddit than from any doctors I have been to. Important: I’m not from the US, just from a country in Europe so we may not have some recommended specifics.
