Hello there! I often use two variants of my name fairly interchangeably so when it comes to signing I'm always stuck on what to write and usually just write that part messily so it's hard to read. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion that would work as a signature for both the name Fionn and Fiona? Thanks!
My Grandpa served in the US Army Air Forces during WW2, but, like many veterans, didn't really talk about his service to any of his family and now he's dead. My Grandmother threw out all his WW2 stuff (very upsetting) before I was even born. He was a Staff Sergeant and Airplane Mechanic Gunner in the 748th Bombardment and the image shows the decorations and citations listed on his discharge papers. I've got a layman's knowledge of military wear so if anyone here could let me know what his uniform and decorations might have looked like that would be very appreciated by me and my family!
