Discrepancy in Event Reward Value - 26Y ALLSTAR Yu Zhong Gold Coin
Hey everyone, I need to bring up a huge discrepancy with the recent event rewards and see if anyone else is dealing with this.
As someone who puts a ton of time into this game, I was super hyped for the MLBB ALLSTAR event and grinded hard to get the physical rewards.
I managed to secure the 26Y ALLSTAR Collection - Yu Zhong 999.9 Gold Coin. If you look at the in-game event description under the "[Diamond Conversion Standard]", Moonton explicitly stated this coin has a conversion value of 4,235 Diamonds.
Well, the physical item finally arrived in the mail.
When I checked the engraving on the back of the coin, it clearly states it contains only 0.1g of 999.9 gold.
Let’s do the math: Based on the real-world market value of 0.1 grams of pure gold right now, this physical item is nowhere near the advertised equivalent of 4,235 Diamonds. By my calculations, 0.1 grams of gold isn't even equivalent to 1,500 Diamonds.
This feels incredibly misleading. Even though the event was completely free to participate in, the promised value of the reward is the main reason I pushed so hard and invested so much of my time grinding. It feels like false advertising to claim a 4.2k diamond value for a sliver of gold worth a fraction of that.
Has anyone else received their physical rewards yet? Did you notice the same discrepancy with the Layla coin or the 19k diamond Dragon Charm?
I’ve already sent a formal email to Moonton customer support demanding an explanation and proper compensation for the missing value, but I wanted to warn the community.
