CFA Level 2 May'26 (one month timeline)

So by the end of March I graduated with my MBA, and had two months before my full time joining, but thanks to procrastination and unlimited self doubt I started my preparation quite late by 18th April to be precise. I knew I had just one month to give my best to this. After a lot of hits and trials what I found working best for me was to start with topics I was most comfortable with and had huge weightage.

So I started with equity valuation, and since everyone said L2 is more about solving and practicing. I followed this-one module a day (from mark meldrum review notes not the videos just the notes) and the LES question of that module the same day. And for smaller modules I would do two in a day. With this by 5th May I was done with Equity, Portfolio, Fixed Income and FSA. Then followed practicing ethics after short revision from my L1 notes. Of the remaining small 5 topics I did one topic a day ECo, Corp, AI using the same strategy. And quant was my background given I was a Machine learning engineer prior to MBA so I just quickly crammed through. Also yeah I left derivatives since it felt complex and I was too exhausted to start anything new.

Now the most important phase was revision of all the topics, here I have 5 days to review the entire curriculum, this time making my short notes to remember stuff up while going through it. Followed Mark Meldrum and EdZeb notes for review. And once this was done. I gave the two mocks by CFA institute in two consecutive days just before the exam and on the final day I went through my short notes during revision for the complete curriculum.

I felt comfortable and more focused during the exam compared to mocks and hope things go well. Do let me know what your preparation was like.
