Cross-app tracking, facial recognition in public spaces, metadata correlation, data trading between brokers, over-consumerism. We don't have a centralized, fully controlled security company like Krueger, but we need to stop treating Mirror's Edge as a medium-term future and start instead. I recently asked here for recommendations on buying a telescope, but having done some research this month, because of my area and the portability I need, perhaps I should start with binoculars. I'm particularly interested in knowing how different they are and if the differences are as great as those between the telescopes themselves.
