I noticed that Mehmed’s beard looks like it’s dyed brown or orange in some parts. You can see it in the thumbnail for episode 84. Also, if you focus on his beard during the latest Divan-i-Hümayun, you can see it especially clearly when Mehmed runs his fingers through his beard at the end of the meeting.
For some reason, many people online and in MFS call Bayezid: Beyazıt. Mehmed, Mahmud, İshak, and his wife all do. But the proper way is Bayezid or it’s a mispronunciation.
They both were at an event in Uzbekistan yesterday. When they were walking to the stage for pictures, they barely spoke. Serkan hand-shaked Engin, and Engin patted his back.
In episode 83, Mehmed was shown checkmating Vlad to basically resemble what was going on. After Mehmed took the king he said “Now it’s time to make that move a reality”. But anyways, most viewers don’t really fact check, but I did. As you can see in the second pic: the king is in check from Mehmed’s queen. It can’t move to its right because either the knight will pounce on it, or the rook will slice it. It also can’t move to its left because the knight will jump on it, so the king is dead.
While watching MFS, I noticed that Serkan has some sort of different Turkish. He makes the silent ğ not silent. He makes i’s u’s (especially the dotless ı). For example when he shouts to the janissaries “Gök girsun, kızıl çiksun” they shout back “Gök girsin, kızıl çıksın” which is the proper way. It’s like he has his own vocabulary. I don’t know if it’s Ottoman Turkish but here are some examples:

-Yahut
-İçun
-Gayrü

I have good progress after watching 1+ episode average daily since June 19, 2025 when I started DE. Then I moved onto KO, KOR, and now my favorite MFS. Now I can undoubtedly have a conversation in Turkish and speak confidently with a native and I practice by talking to ai with it. I’d understand ~75% of an average Turkish interview or podcast or video. How good is you guys’ Turkish if you don’t watch it dubbed in another language?
Historically, an Italian painter painted a portrait of Mehmed while sitting in front of him. That happened in 1480 which is around the time this season is representing. Now I think they’re depicting that event here and the real painting is the 3rd pic I put here.
Yesterday his sister got married and he wasn’t there so people rushed to conclusions saying he hates his family. His dad was there and he told the reporter that Burak should just do his job. Burak posted on his story that his relationship with his family is still good.
Why do the playlists of DEKOKOR episodes or seasons often have switched up episodes? Like they go in chronological order, then a few episodes in the playlist, the episode numbers are mixed up.
And what makes it worse is that it's on the official channels so the responsibilities are high.

Now that the DE-KOS-KOR era has ended, let's bring back the beautiful memories of them with a good compilation of it's "music". Not really music but you know what I mean - background music. KOR is a continuation of KO, KO is a continuation of DE, KOR has all of the past music because they always add new ones as they should. I searched a lot but I couldn't find a good or official playlist of the soundtracks. Unlike MFS which has some albums from their artist Can Atilla on YouTube and Spotify. I saw that the artist who was making the early KO (and I think also the latter DE) music died while they were still making S1. So can one of us make or inspire one?
This is the ring which Mehmed wore most of MFS so far and it’s on TRT market. I live in Colorado, USA. Could I ship it here? Also are the American ring sizes different from Turkish ring sizes?-( like how shoe sizes are different.
Last Wednesday I finally had the chance to watch a KOR episode live as they released it since it's summer break. I went to the official atv türkiye website and looked for the KOR episode 25 that was going on live at 20:00 for the turkish time zone. I got on the website and clicked on the live which said "canli' something". Early in it it didn't work and I kept refreshing the page. I finally got in but it was just spamming some random turkish ads, it also had the atv watermark so it was part of the live. Can someone explain this to me and tell how to actually watch the finale live next week? Also, will the MFS finale be live on TRT1's official website at 20:00 Türkiye time (8:00 pm)?
