Episode 5 amongst the worst ratings I have ever seen. It’s too bad that the focus was not on Sultan Alaeddin’s accomplishments, and conquests rather than drawing out the romance.
If Gulsah didn’t want her words spoken to the sultan then she shouldn’t have spoken it out in the open and I find it so funny how people are using Gulsah threatening Ayse as some kind of aura farming but she couldn’t even ask mehmed the actual person that was told who told him about what SHE said 💀One thing I liked about Bahar as stupid as she was in the beginning, she never hid her intentions and when caught she took it on the CHIN and did not regret her actions. The one time when she did try to blame others was when she tried to poison Mara but almost everything else, she did not try to excuse her actions. Especially when she sent gifts to pashas per Bayzeid’s request when confronted, she stayed silent almost unapologetic with it because she did in fact have no reason to gift those pashas. Just like Gulsah had no right to pay the janissaries and then she flicked on those teary eyes and innocent look over HER own actions.
So what? If she heard that it was selim who said it to mehmed would she have threatened a toddler because she couldn’t be discreet about her words and mind you she defended those words to mehmed when confronted so I don’t get why she’s double tracking over words that SHE said 😭and Gulsah stans trying to hate on Ayse who did NOTHING to that woman is insane. I thought yall hated hypocritical woman(gulbahar)
Very little is known about Mustafa compared to his brothers, except that he was Mehmed’s favourite and the consolidator of Konya/Karamanid territories after its conquest. But I see everyone talking about how Mustafa wasn’t important or skilled, which is crazy. Had he been alive in 1481, Cem would’ve had very little supporters, and Mustafa would have more than enough experience to deal with Bayezid. (Gedik Ahmed Paşa most likely would’ve sided with Mustafa rather than Bayezid)
And then with Bayezid, he is beloved, almost as if it’s because he becomes the Sultan and is the father of Selim. The Bayezid of the show is very obviously jealous of his brother and more impatient than his brother. I do love the historical Bayezid though (except for showing Cem a bit too much mercy than he deserved lol)
For some reason, many people online and in MFS call Bayezid: Beyazıt. Mehmed, Mahmud, İshak, and his wife all do. But the proper way is Bayezid or it’s a mispronunciation.
