Why do so many people on social media hate Mustafa and love Bayezid? They even badmouth the historical Mustafa

Very little is known about Mustafa compared to his brothers, except that he was Mehmed’s favourite and the consolidator of Konya/Karamanid territories after its conquest. But I see everyone talking about how Mustafa wasn’t important or skilled, which is crazy. Had he been alive in 1481, Cem would’ve had very little supporters, and Mustafa would have more than enough experience to deal with Bayezid. (Gedik Ahmed Paşa most likely would’ve sided with Mustafa rather than Bayezid)

And then with Bayezid, he is beloved, almost as if it’s because he becomes the Sultan and is the father of Selim. The Bayezid of the show is very obviously jealous of his brother and more impatient than his brother. I do love the historical Bayezid though (except for showing Cem a bit too much mercy than he deserved lol)

Day 5 of what is the best origin story for each planetary arc: Tatooine

Day 1: [https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/s/CcOBwuoVeW](https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/s/CcOBwuoVeW) (winner: Agent/Trooper)

Day 2: [https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/s/R16t1ZXUiW](https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/s/R16t1ZXUiW) (winner: SW)

Day 3: https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/s/NYKTXw1T4K (winner: SI).

Day 4: https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/s/C6QuffRvWk (winner: Agent) although SI was a close second, Agent comments just had more likes so that is the winner

Now Tatooine, one of the more boring planets in my opinion, both in terms of story and the actual planetary arc itself. Even KOTOR had a better Tatooine story than the classes of SWTOR imo

I don’t understand why people don’t want Disney to touch KOTOR era in the new Star Wars canon

Is it not the common belief that BioWare and SWTOR stuffed up the stories and characters of both KOTOR I and II? A Disney retcon could fix that, and perhaps even release a KOTOR III (that would ofc be worse than if it was actually released in the 2000s but I digress)

Also, even IF Disney was to do something that would anger fans, I doubt it would be worse than Revan being mind tricked by Vitiate into being evil, him sleeping for 300 years and then ‘splitting’ into two halves, and Meetra being one of the worst duellists lmao. KOTOR Meetra would never lose to Darth Nyriss 🤣

Also: make my girl Noni Sunrider relevant again ☝️☝️

As a diehard R9 fan and someone who hasn’t watched Matthias Sammer, I’m having trouble believing that Sammer was considered the best player in the world ahead of him in 1996. For those who were around at the time, do you believe the win was justified?

Note: I know that the vote difference was literally only 1 vote, but I’m still confused how Sammer won. Peak R9 should have definitely won it at Barca imo

Does anyone know where (on the internet) I could find the full Hadith of Imam al-Hasan meeting with Mu’awiya in Medina?

I was watching a lecture by Sayed Mohammed Hassan Alsheraa and he began talking about a meeting between Imam al-Hasan and several members of the Umayyad clan, including Mu’awiya and Yazid. In this meeting, the Imam basically roasted all the members present but the Sheikh didn’t go too in detail as he said it was too vulgar for the mimbar

With that being said, I tried looking for it but couldn’t find it. Could someone please help me out? Thank you in advance e

As a lover of both Ottoman history and Assassin’s Creed Revelations, I always found it interesting how Şehzade Ahmed was the Templar Grandmaster. Is there any other Ottoman dynast (either Sultan/Sultana/Şehzade) that you see as part of either order? Why?

My obvious number one for Templar was Cem Sultan, the guy who was literally living as an honoured guest under Rodrigo Borgia as a safeguard against Ottoman invasion. For Assassin though, it would be a bit harder to guess. Maybe Murad IV?

Does anyone else think Van Bronckhorst’s goal against Uruguay in 2010 is the best WC goal of all time? (Other than Maradona 86)

In terms of striking the ball obv. Maradona’s sure is more of a flair and very impressive to watch, but as a pure strike, none is better than Van Bronckhorst’s imho

One of the best strikes of the ball I’ve ever seen. Its distance and trajectory (from a fullback in the era as well), with it hitting the top right corner perfectly is just so satisfying to watch. Not only that, it was the WC semi-final in a game that ended 3-2, so even if it was the opening goal, I still count it just as significant as the last. If the Netherlands had won that WC, Van Bronckhorst’s goal definitely would be talked about way more often imo.

If Leonardo da Vinci was born a few decades earlier or Mehmed II died a few decades later, how do you think the two would think of/interact with each other?

I ask because I heard a story of Da Vinci giving one of his ideas to Bayezid II on an insta post (yes I know, very reliable), but the offer was refused. However we all know Bayezid was staunchly conservative and didn’t have the same romanticism for the Romans that his father had. So how would Mehmed II have done with such a brilliant figure? Would Da Vinci be like Orban, who offered himself to a Muslim Turk?

If, according to Plagueis, you had to experience force lightning to do it, how do you think the technique was first made? (Not trolling)

I just remembered the line from the Plagueis novel. I’m not sure if it’s actually fact or just his perspective, but it begs an interesting question. How would the first ever person to discover the technique do it? Surely he didn’t get electrocuted by natural lightning or something?

Is there actually any mention in the story itself that it was Tenebrae himself that forms the Eternal Empire?

There is a widespread headcanon/preference for the story that Valkorion would’ve been a great antagonist and counter to the ‘immortal’ Tenebrae/Vitiate had they been separate beings.

However there’s also another smaller theory that Valkorion was such a being, but that Tenebrae swooped in towards the end and made the Empire stronger. This is also why Valkorion had no kids until literally 20ish years before the game, because it was Tenebrae’s decision and not the og Valkorion.

I know the og story is that basically Zakuul was nothing and Valkorion a simple force user before Tenebrae stepped in and made the Eternal Empire out of a backward world. With that being said, could this technically be canon if you think hard enough? That Valkorion actually founded the Eternal Empire and ruled it for centuries but Tenebrae hijacked it midway for his own plans?

Was Darth Sion actually an exceptional Sith in terms of power? Or was it just that his immortality demoralised and tired Jedi to the point that he could easily kill them?
