Mouse cursor moving even without sensor, how do I fix?

Since cross posting and videos are not allowed, I'm using links, which also does not support markdown in the title.

Here's the problem:

My Razer Deathadder Essential when connected moved my cursor to the top left of the screen infinitely so I assumed sensor must be glitching due to dust, but cleaning did not result in anything, the issue still persisted.

So I tried replacing the sensor with a Viper V3 Sensor whose infrared led died (the led recieved no power from the board so the mouse did not work). While replacing it, I found out the Deathadder was malfunctioning even without the sensor.

I'm assuming the input channels is shorted or some resistor has failed which is letting signal go through, I'm not sure a faulty cable can be causing this even though the cable sleeve has ruptured (rubber degraded and disintegrated on it's own) and some wires are exposed.
And Viper and DA have different size internal USB connector so the cables are not interchangable.

Here's the reddit link from PCRepair subreddit where I've posted the video. If linking posts are not allowed I'll upload on youtube as an unlisted video.

[Want To Buy] Ryzen 5 7600/X or 9600X with B650 or B850 with 16GB DDR5

A friend wishes to upgrade from AM4 and is considering upgrading to AM5.

EDIT: I forgot mentioned, he's looking for pre-owned or open-box stuff since new ones are too expensive a whole.
