What happened to Haesoo's 1st pregnancy?

Most likely: She miscarried because of the stress of working alot and debt collectors.

Least likely (to me): abortion.

What I think happened:

Haesoo miscarried and didn't tell Mincheol. I think this is a possibility because in a flashback we see that Haesoo and Mincheol were separated for a bit, it could've happened during that time. We know Haesoo internalizes things and doesn't share her burdens. In general though, with Mincheol feeling guilty for the debt collectors would she share this information too? That's why I think we are shown the doctor appointment regarding her fertility before the miscarriage, both Mincheol and Haesoo are present but I think she went to the doctor appointment alone for the ultrasound, even if Mincheol and Haesoo were together during that time, there are women who wait to inform even their significant other untill the chance of miscarrying is much lower.

Now the only reason I doubt this theory is because the reason I thought Mincheol became trash was because of the debt and the miscarriage. But if he doesn't know about the miscarriage then holy *hit!

Ari and her new bag 🤣 (Ch121)

Unless it's waterproof and she can clean it, I don't think she'll be able to return it. Some stores don't do returns too. Lol, Haesoo didn't mean to ruin Ari's fake proposal gift from Mincheol that she was going to show off 🤪. That's the only thing I am happy about from this chapter. And calling Haesoo a beggar when she and Mincheol couldn't afford that bag on the spot either 💀.

Did Jay see Haesoo get assaulted? (Ch. 120)

In Jay's flashbacks, all I see is that it is raining and Haesoo isn't wearing her hat like in the scene where Mincheol gropes her chest.

I don't think he saw it, but I could be wrong. What do you think?

Is Taehee gonna snitch or not? (Ch 104)

The whole reason he called his mom was so that Taeha would go on the trip instead of him. Like, maybe after his first encounter with Haesoo he doesn't think Taeha having money will be a problem for her. But his the one who was wondering why Taeha is hiding it from her.

Also, I thought Taehee paid off the people following Haesoo. Does that mean he knows about Mincheol?

Like when he hears his brother came back a bit early is he gonna snitch then so they don't have a happy reunion?

Haesoo invited to go out for drinks 🥳👏 (ch.119 some thoughts)

I was worried with the gossip surrounding Haesoo but she was invited for a drink with her other coworkers so I am kinda excited. I don't think I've seen her drink with anyone else besides Taeha. Hell, her memories so far haven't shown that she's gone out to an outing with people from work or friends. I think this experience will calm her fears from the photo in the bar Taehee sent. We know she has trauma from Mincheol cheating and lying (using work as an excuse).

I hope Taeha returns after that, I don't want her to miss this. Hopefully Mincheol, Ari, or Taehee don't ruin that outing for her.

Besides that, the only thing I am worried about is the boss, we haven't seen him since the interview. I know it was said he dated employees much younger than him, but I just hope the alcohol doesn't make things weird. Especially with Mincheol claiming to be something special with Haesoo and therefore making it look like Haesoo and Mincheol are going through a rough patch in their relationship 🤢.

Kinda wish Mincheol could become a banned customer but oh well. Hopefully Taeha can do that. Maybe Haesoo will open up to her co workers and clear the air.

Now after reuniting, if Haesoo actually improves her communication. That only leaves Taeha to do the same.

I'm just curious where Jay is. Maybe the author didn't show us so we could feel even more the frustration and panic Haesoo feels with Mincheol. Maybe that's why Haesoo got home without Mincheol following her since Jay's interfering. Maybe his not back yet.

I am trying to predict what Jay regretted not telling Taeha in that scene where Taeha is sad and drinking alcohol. Like his already warned him and told Taeha his past. The only thing I can think of is that his bias clouded his judgment and he overlooked something that eventually leads to Taesoo splitting.

Relationship parallels (Ch 115 & 114)

I know that somethings can be lost in translation but I feel like this is just further confirmation about the obvious future relationship awaiting Jay. Plus we've seen relationship parallels of Mincheol/Haesoo compared to Taeha/Haesoo.

Just some questions for chapter 112

  1. Does anyone think Ahn Yoon Seo might've slipped something into his food? Or is trying to get Taeha to let his guard down when male co-workers give him food for when she eventually spikes him. Plus, maybe she's smart enough to know that if she spikes him and ruins his relationship he won't want to be with her. Unless she only wants one unconsentual night with him 🤢. But if Taeha in defiance because of the argument he had with Haesoo prior, tells Ahn Yoon Seo that his not in a relationship, then I won't be surprised if she charges into this before the trip ends. Damn, Taehee and Ahn Yoon Seo are alike 💀, they'll probably team up after both their plans fail.
  2. Why show that model's beautiful face? Is she going to appear eventually? Could she be Jay's ex, etc?

Was this intentional maybe? (Ch 108) Theories

I'm more convinced that the girl who gossips about Ari and bumped into her harshly before was intentionally put there by Taeha. I almost forgot about her and stupidly thought that Taeha would pause/slow down his plans for Mincheol (especially since Jay is with him) and that he was only planning the confrontation via the detectives.

Since she knows that Ari's immature, she always planned for there to be some confrontation, hell maybe she knew Ari was in the bathroom and that she would cause a scene and that's why she was spewing rumors and had extra people there to back up her story.

So my thoughts are that this will put more cracks in Mincheol and Ari's relationship because we expect the way Mincheol to respond to make Ari look/feel worse not better. Like he might say their not in a relationship or not anymore, he might let her take the brunt of it in the moment and soothe her later, or help her but not as strongly as she would've helped him. I also think this will be a parallel to the bathroom scene where Haesoo was being bullied and Mincheol saves her heroically but obviously doesn't do the same for Ari in the same way.

I expect this to lead to:

-Ari and Mincheol doing the nasty and spending time together at work much less or none 🥳.

-Ari rethinking the moments she's shared with Mincheol. Like Mincheol running after Ari after Haesoo found them doing the nasty. She'll start to think he values his job more than her after the commotion and maybe just needed a place to stay at. And if his lied or mislead her, what else has he lied about and isn't telling her?

-Ari's confrontation with Haesoo will be more intense (maybe physical, spilling things, very mean verbally, etc.). If Mincheol intervenes in that scenario especially at Haesoo's workplace it will make things worse for Haesoo (rumors) and will also make Ari angrier.

-Ari might start making moves since she has already taken out some money for him and lets him stay at her place. She'll feel like she deserves better treatment. Ultimatums like: "if you want to live here then...". Like she might force his hand in marriage by getting her parents involved, etc.

-Ari getting fired/suspended/transferred for this commotion or a future commotion. Also her parents might find out and that's how they get brought into the story.

-My last theory is that even though I don't believe Taehee can fool Haesoo even if he wore special shoes to look taller, drew on a beauty mark, got a mortocycle, etc or at least not for long. I believe the person that can be fooled by this is Ari because she saw him from afar. And maybe that will come up in the Ari/Haesoo confrontation (taunting). And as much as I would like to see Mincheol see Taehee and fly into a blinding rage without thinking and hurt him, I do fear they will team up and I hope Taeha has a backup plan for that.

Anyways, I don't know if Taeha is only planning one one confrontation or he plans to have Mincheol bother her a lot and wants her to stay strong as further proof that she wants Taeha and not him. Like imagine Mincheol coming to see Haesoo so he can watch her reactions and discomfort, she has to be cordial because she's at work, the power imbalance 🤢. Being near him and Ari (age gap, Mincheol has less than Ari has, Mincheol hiding their relationship maybe) might make her realize how she's been treating Taeha and will hammer in the idea that it's best to end things with Taeha before they move in like Ari and Mincheol have 😭.

Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised if Mincheol's influence on Haesoo does cause her to no longer want to be with Taeha, not because she loves/likes Mincheol but because she doesn't want to deal with men and the drama no more. I'm expecting all of this to be too much for her: Taehee, lack of Taeha, Mincheol, her boss, potentially mean customers and rumors at work about her.

(Ch107) The separation arc must be coming...

I find the argument in ch 107 ironic. We know Haesoo doesn't know exactly where Taeha works or his company name, so she couldn't even pick him up if she wanted to herself. Haesoo doesn't want Taeha to pick her up from her work because she doesn't want a repeat of what happened last time at the flower shop. She also feels shame for being older than Taeha. She mirrors Mincheol in that sense but the difference is she's ashamed because she believes she's lacking compared to Taeha vs Mincheol feels superior to Haesoo.

So of course, we need to see one of Taeha's plans go wrong. So, my guess is that Taeha will send a work photo or something via text to Haesoo and he'll have his hand or arm around his younger co worker/the news anchor girl, or at least let her be too close to him. Taeha thinks distance will make the heart grow fonder and that Haesoo will want to claim him and commit more to their relationship when he comes back from the trip. That's where he goes wrong and she wishes to end things.

I also expect a parallel for when Haesoo/Mincheol are separated and how Haesoo's life gets better. And how Haesoo's life gets worse without Taeha. Like maybe Taeha won't help with roudy customers, or a confrontation with Mincheol/Ari. But my guess is that these experiences without Taeha will also make it easier for Haesoo to eventually leave him.

I don't know if Jay is staying or going with Taeha. Maybe Jay and Haesoo will finally meet. Besides the beom family or Mincheol/Ari, I think the other thing that Jay might regret not telling Taeha is that he might've sensed the end of their relationship but didn't report that because he didn't think it would really end or that Taeha would change his movements.

Haesoo's affected by words easily, so if she hears from a family member like Taehee that he doesn't support the relationship, it's over. It's true that Taehee could take Haesoo on the trip to further hammer down the gap in wealth between them. It'll feel like Haesoo isn't able to contribute anything of worth to Taeha's life and that all she does is take. Her walking away is like her saving him in a way in her mind.

The art in these images really made me feel something (103).

These images were the best part of the chapter for me. Even though I really dislike Mincheol, but because it's the past Mincheol I don't feel bad per say because I know what his future self is like. But I feel discomfort because in that moment he hasn't become truly disgusting (yet). But I know he messed up big time making a financial decision without Haesoo's input 🤦.

Anyways, I really hope when we get Taeha's backstory that we see something similar involving happy memories, an encouraging voice, etc 😭.

I kinda liked this chapter (102)

Why we need to see a bit more of Mincheol's pov even if we all feel like we already know it.

-Mincheol has said so many times that it's Haesoo's fault. It would be a plot hole to not confirm it isn't true 100%. Especially when some people defend him or ship them together.

-I think it will serve as a contrast when looking at Haesoo's pov or add more context if Mincheol and Haesoo argue about the past.

-Mincheol said Taeha was familiar or at least his eyes were, so I wish to know what that meant.

What I've learned:

-Haesoo was working and exhausted before the debt and miscarriage.

-We're not shown Mincheol discussing with Haesoo about making that financial decision. That money could be all Mincheol's or maybe both Mincheol and Haesoo's hard earned money.

What I wish to see:

-The first time Mincheol is mean with his words and/or physically harsh to Haesoo.

-Why was the debt put in Haesoo's name?

Theory: Besides Mincheol being a coward what if the man Mincheol trusts plans to scam him and out of guilt he pushes/persuades Mincheol (being naive and reckless) to put the debt in Haesoo's name so that atleast Mincheol can leave Haesoo (has no child with her and isn't as close with her as Mincheol) and move on. Sick logic if this comes true.

Prediction/Jumping to conclusions - Mincheol's past

  1. Mincheol's work ethic:

Currently, we see Mincheol doesn't have a good attitude or work ethic at his job. I think Mincheol not working (waiting for a better job) in the past is because of what happened at his lower paying job. I believe this may have happened because Mincheol got scammed by this person he trusted or his advice was very bad. Plus, it makes what Mincheol is doing to Ari even more scummy. I also think Mincheol felt like a fool for having a good attitude and working hard with things getting worse.

  1. Mincheol's petty logic (assumption):

My guess is Mincheol worked and Haesoo stayed home early on in their marriage. Of course, I think Haesoo took on the household duties in that time. My guess is that while Mincheol was not working for how many years, he thought it was fine because he had worked for many years already, so it balances out 😡. Mincheol's been working since he was teen, Haesoo hasn't. The bus stop scene with Taeha (his a teen, maybe 14-15 years old🤷), Haesoo must've been around 24-25 maybe when dealing with loan sharks. So...things were evening out around or after age 33-34. Dumb logic to me 🤦.

  1. Haesoo's health:

I think chapter 101 is supposed to convey that Mincheol was not thinking of having a child with Haesoo early on as strongly as we see post time skip. At least, not at the expense of Haesoo's health. I think those feelings got stronger when things got tough, believing a child could restore their relationship or make things better.

It's been theorized that Haesoo was ill and that's what led to the debt. But, I also think it's possible that Haesoo had trouble getting pregnant or had a miscarriage before the debt. Besides normal illnesses, Haesoo grew up in an abusive and neglected home. Lack of nutrition or lack of regular medical care leading to affects in adulthood, wouldn't be too surprising. Sadly, maybe after getting treatment Haesoo had a chance at getting pregnant but the burden of debt/loan sharks ruined it. I guess it's also possible the debt was for expensive IVF treatments.

Besides the above reasons, why did Mincheol specifically take out the debt in Haesoo's name? Besides being a coward. There's no mention of any other debts being on Mincheol's name. I think their relationship hit a hard place, and Haesoo feeling insecure and feeling like she's the reason he didn't go to college, she might have wanted to exit the relationship (for his sake), especially if she was having health or fertility issues. So that's why he took out the debt in her name maybe 🤷. This would also explain why the Author keeps showing scenes where Mincheol has to convince himself that Haesoo will only ever want Mincheol because most of their relationship has been steered by Mincheol.

But again, maybe the end of chapter 101 is a curve ball, maybe Haesoo is shocked that she's pregnant and this pushes Mincheol to make that financial choice.

Note: I am not trying to condone Mincheol's terrible actions, I'm just predicting what led up to it.
