I am getting MACI with TTO this summer. I also will be beginning pharmacy school in the fall. I am wondering if it is worth it to apply for a temporary handicap parking placard, both for immediately after surgery and for parking at school?

I am transferring schools and moving from my first college apartment (moving from KS to WI). Since the beginning of this school year I have had some pest issues in my apartment, which the pest control people have just shrugged off. There have been a lot of roly-poly type bugs that I find dead, some spiders, mice, and I have seen a few cockroaches occasionally. I've never seen a ton of cockroaches, but I've read that if you see one, there's more hiding. I have had sticky traps, DE, and poison bait since I noticed, but I still see them from time to time.
As the title suggests, I will be moving and want to avoid hitch hikers. Most of my belongings, such as kitchenware and furniture, will go into an enclosed trailer over the summer and stay there until I move into the new place in the fall. I plan on moving the poison bait into the trailer in case of stragglers. I was wondering if just having everything sealed in the trailer over the summer will be enough to avoid taking bugs with me, or is there more I can do?
There is no way to avoid using cardboard boxes, as I cannot afford any alternatives and am using what I have. I may just be being paranoid, since I've never seen enough bugs for it to seem like a true infestation, but I would rather be overprepared.
Also, any tips for making sure the new place is as sealed and bug free to start as possible would be appreciated.

TL;DR: I'm moving and my apartment has occasionally had bugs in it. How do I stop them from coming with me? (there are 3 months between moving out then in, with furniture being stored in a sealed trailer outside)
