The good and the bad

Just got done painting this kraken eater gargant and was happy with my first attempt ever of tattoos. I had this great idea for him walking into the sea. So i sculpted this base from scratch and planned to do a resin pour. But the unfortunate reality has hit right at the end when trying to create a flush barrier for the resin. The shape will not allow for a clean and secure barrier. I have no other ideas around this issue so unfortunately it will have to be without the resin water effects. Unless any other ideas are presented to me.

Hoooog riiiider!!

This is my first ironjawz model, painted him simple and fast. I aim to paint an enitre spearhead like this fella in two weeks. Let me know if you guys rate it (especially the nmm was not sure on that but this is my 3rd nmm attempt). So that being said if you guys collectively agree that i am better off using metallic paints please do let me know as you may save me, but i do believe its a convincing nmm attempt none the less. Any advice appreciated as always. Got some pigmet and fixer coming in the post to add at some point but otherwise yeah pretty happy with this one.

I recently posted how i ordered some orruk ironjawz from ebay. There was no details describing what was included but i knew about there being a spearhead and gordrakk. Turns out it includes a shaman and ardboy bigboss to which is a massive bonus. But, it also came with this battletome. I am guessing this battletome is outdated? Just want to make sure cause i am clueless.
