Ground pound build is just better than wing of fury?

When Saber did update the jet pack dodge build with the other perks to regain charge I was overjoyed and switched right away. Learned to dodge properly and weaving through big waves to kill enemies.

But then I realised I lose a lot in damage from ground pound and I can still regain charge for perfect dodges with the jetpack so I switched back to ground pound.

So far I have noticed a MAJOR increase of my survivability and damage potential. I use exclusively the heroic hammer (because bonk).
So far with the wing of fury build:

  1. If I mess up a dodge I lose the charge and do some damage
  2. If I succeed in dodging sometimes I don't get back my charge
  3. If I jetpack dodge the attack and the enemy goes to execute mode I don't get my charge back
  4. Refund charge after a jetpack dash attack is wildly inconsistent. I have to make sure there is an enemy behind I can hit. Rarely, I can hit the enemy I just went through
  5. Ground pound is significantly weaker

Whereas with the ground pound build I can nuke things while still enjoying the dodge mechanics.

  1. Missing a dodge still happens and I don't do the damage, I just use the jetpack dodge on red attacks and I can't cancel in time. Fair.
  2. Still happens, but I now tend to just do the normal dodge.
  3. Can't have the enemy in execute if I don't do damage with the dodge, much better.
  4. Can't use the refund charge perk.
  5. +100% damage and 10% ability charge per fill, proper xenos nuke which you can spam when there are a lot of enemies.

Am I missing something with the wing of fury build?
