📱 What’s the best mobile data plan in Debrecen? Looking for 100GB+ without breaking the bank

Hey everyone!

I’ll be moving to Debrecen soon and I’m trying to figure out which mobile provider to go with. I’ll mainly be using mobile data on my phone, so calls/SMS aren't really important to me.

Ideally, I'm looking for:

  • 📶 100GB+ per month — unlimited would be even better
  • 💰 Around 5,000–7,000 HUF/month
  • 🚀 Good 4G/5G speeds
  • 🏙️ Reliable coverage around Debrecen, especially around the city centre/university area
  • ❌ Preferably no long-term contract
  • 📱 Either physical SIM or eSIM is fine

For anyone actually living in Debrecen:

Which provider are you using, what plan do you have, and how's the speed/coverage in real life?

Would you recommend Yettel, Telekom or One, or is there another provider/plan I should look into?

Also interested in hearing about any less obvious/cheaper plans I might have missed.

Thanks! 🙏

Medical students, if you had a few months before starting med school, what would you study?

Hey everyone!

I'm starting medical school soon, and I was wondering what you guys actually learned during your first year.

If you could go back in time and had a couple of months before your first day, what would you study (or not study)?

I'd love to hear things like:

🫀 What subjects did you take in your first year?

📚 Which topics came up the most?

😅 What completely caught you off guard?

💀 Which subject was the hardest?

📖 What books, YouTube channels, apps, or resources helped you the most?

⏳ What did you wish you had learned before starting?

🚫 Is there anything pre-meds spend way too much time studying that isn't actually worth it?

💡 What's one piece of advice you'd give your first-year self?

Also, if you don't mind, mention your country or medical school, since I know every curriculum is a bit different.

I'm not trying to "finish med school before med school" 😅. I just want to build a solid foundation and make the transition a little smoother.

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks!

Seniors of Reddit — be brutally honest… how bad (or good) were your 1st & 2nd years of uni REALLY?

On the internet, I frequently come across two extremes: "first year is the best time of your life 😍" or "it destroyed me mentally." There is hardly any middle ground.

I want the unvarnished truth from those who have lived through it.

Tell me, then:

Did you really have an easy first year, or did you struggle academically?

Did you make a big mistake at first and then get better?

Which of the following—studies, loneliness, money, discipline, etc.—hurt you more than you anticipated?

If at all, when did things begin to "click" for you?

What is one common error made by freshmen that you wish you had not made?

Above all, if you had to start over, would you do it differently?

Not a word about motivation. Just actual events, triumphs, setbacks, and regrets.

If you’re still in uni, your perspective counts too.
