Looking for some fun free or cheap things to do for Halloween and fall this month. Have a couple of 3 year olds, so unfortunately they are no longer free for things like Boo at the Zoo or Oaks Farm 😭. Anyone know what's out there? I know there should be some good trunk or treat and fall festivals. Working on a list for us and some friends 🥰. Thanks!
I'm usually very anti-haunted houses during Halloween. This year though, I want to dip my toes in for the first time. Anyone have any advice on a good starter haunt? I'm really wanting like a haunted hayride or drive through haunt. Basically, low stakes and no touching me 😊. Is there anywhere near us that does something along those lines? I don't mind driving a little bit.
I know it's early, but I'm a planner and I have to hype myself up to go 😂
How long did it take to potty train your pup? My boy is 13 months old, I've had him since he was 6 months old. He's neutered and never alone more than maybe 3 or 4 hours a day. I'd say we're 90% potty trained, but never 100% and it's getting old. We just had our longest stretch ever of no accidents, just under 2 weeks. It's like he does so well, perfect angel. Until something slightly different happens, and we have a back slide. He's peed or pooped inside at least once for the past 3 days. I guess all I'm looking for is some reassurance that'll it'll end eventually, and we will get to 100% pottying outside 😭
My neighbors on both sides face the road behind me. So my back yard is next to their front yards and vice versa. The neighbor to my right is a nosey old man who will. not. stop. watching. us. Every time we are outside, so is he. Just standing and staring. It got worse this winter when we got a puppy and started potty training, so we were outside in our backyard more, in addition to having a couple of 3-year-olds over quite often. We ended up getting a 6 foot privacy fence installed, just on his side, to block him so we can enjoy our yard. But there is one spot where he can stand and still see us. I need some good suggestions on how to block this. I don't care how obvious it is, I'd just prefer if it didn't look absolutely atrocious. I'll include a zoomed in pic of the spot in question. My family and I have tickets to our first ever game, we're so excited! That being said, I gave a freshly turned 3 year old. The emails say pre game starts at 1 and actual game starts at 630. It's a huge ask to have the 3 year old there this entire time, what's the best time to show up? What's in the pre game that's not worth missing? I'm not even 100% sure how seating works. If we show up right before the actual game starts, will we regret it? Thanks for your help!!
