My dad's an electrician... but he's also a maniacal evil Maniac who I love dearly! He has made me cut live wires while standing in water because he knew it would "trip the breaker and give me a good scare".... he was telling me I can just pull it out with my fingers and be completely fine, but I think he's trying to pull another trick and I'm nervous. Before we noticed there was anything in the outlet it was not working at all so maybe it has nothing running to it... I don't know he just wanted to yap when I asked him at dinner so now I'm here

If anything I can use some of his insulated pliers, but I don't know if I need to use more caution

My boyfriend's family just moved into a new house and it is swarming with mosquitoes!! It's a beautiful property it has a nice fig tree on it and everything, but my boyfriend and I want to make a garden and I would like to be able to attend it without being swarmed to the point where you can probably go through a big bottle of bug spray in a week.

I know it would require a little pond from what I've read on other posts around here but if anyone has recommendations please!!!

I posted this on r/plants already, but I thought it would fit here as well I completely forgot!! Last night I was walking out of my boyfriend's house to go pick up my dinner with him and I saw this glowing plant I thought it was a creature!! The photos aren't the highest quality I'll probably do the same thing as I said for the other post where I'll add higher quality photos once I get my camera to his house!!

I only think it's a Datura because of the edges, but I'm not knowledgeable on flowers I'm just beginning to learn about them so if I'm incorrect I am so sorry!!

I took this one at night the other two were this morning

I'm a huge metalhead and I have been for so long and I know that's unrelated to the church...but to just give a bit of context for my tattoo! It was supposed to be some old biker decal from the 60s and I got the tattoo right when I turned 18 (I'm 21 now) the dude changed it up a lot and I didn't say anything because I was too nervous and I really regret it now. I think the tattoo is well done, but it looks really satanic since it's a goat with three eyes and four horns and it has a little flame above its head (he added that without even it being on the stencil :-///) I really want to start going to my local church, but I'm so worried no one will talk to me or they'll look down on me because of it. I was supposed to go today, but it's so hot and I couldn't wear anything other than short sleeves so I decided against it and I just feel so ashamed.

My boyfriend converted to Catholicism a few years ago and he was telling me they wouldn't judge me... I think I'm just getting in my head about it and it makes me really upset I can't go and attend mass without this guilt stopping me.

Today is the first day I'm supposed to be taking the white pill (I normally take my pill in the afternoon so I haven't taken it yet) I always get my period on Wednesday with my last birth control but now that I'm on this one it's freaking me out because normally it takes me 4 days for my "period" to start... I'm worried that because the placebo pills is only a 4-day window I will not get my period again and I feel more comfortable getting it since I now have a proper routine (I'm AuAdhd) and I'm worried that if I'm not getting my period it's going to mess up my routine and put everything out of proper order and I don't know what to do.. I've been reading and it says other people get their period the first day the white pill starts but I always get my period first thing in the morning. I don't have a mother to ask about this stuff so I'm really scared.
