What a goated day in music history.

To start: I’m a currently in highschool but I go to a community college full-time taking an Electrical Engineering program. I will graduate highschool with my associates in Electrical Engineering Technologies.
I was stuck between going straight to work after graduation or continuing school, but I decided on going away for college for a couple years. My goal is to keep student loans to a minimum through scholarships, grants, and possibly athletics.
With getting my associates early, I could definitely lighten some work for my first 2 years of a bachelors, maybe cutting down to only 3 years of school. But depending on the school, I’m not sure how much I can reduce my workload.
Now to my point: I want to save as much money as I can, and luckily I’m halfway decent at track and could probably get some sort of scholarship out of it. I’m not sure what a scholarship would look like since it depends on the school but I don’t know if it’s the right option. After visiting a couple schools, the course work load looks serious, and I don’t know how feasible it is to balance school and track. And, I don’t know if it would even be worth it.
I’m asking any engineering students if they think it’s possible to balance these without completely losing my mind?
And, is there a certain amount of tuition covered that would make it worth it?
I would love to hear your guys advice!
I ordered my Y1 a couple of days ago out of impulse and I really didn't do a whole lot of research until after I had purchased it. I've come to realize while it's a fun device there's a lot of things to look out for. This is just a list I've curated after looking through posts on people's troubles in this community. If you have any personal experiences or advice PLEASE let me know, I want this device to last long enough to be worth my money so I will do whatever it takes to keep it around.
SD Card
- I'm going to take the risk and stick with the stock card for now, I have all of my music downloaded on an external drive incase it corrupts. I am fully aware of the risk, and am willing to replace it if it needs it, I just don't want to do it first thing, and somehow manage to brick my device or something before use.
- For a replacement, it has to be FAT32 format, does that mean I need a certain formatting on songs?
- Majority of my music files are FLACs which is supported, I'm not overly concerned with the quality of the music since I'm planning on using bluetooth earbuds, is there anything I should look out for?
- Album cover art should be 300x300, nothing larger.
- I'm going to transfer music onto it slowly, not going to overload it or do huge batches. Not entirely sure if this does anything, but just a precautionary.
Firmware
- I'm assuming mine is update 3.0.7, meaning Rockbox is off limits for now. This is fine because I want to see how I enjoy the standard firmware with themes and what not.
- When using stock firmware, is there anything to look out for when uploading themes or other things?
Other Things
- I'm planning on using bluetooth earbuds mainly.
- May eventually upload podcasts or audiobooks, but that's for another time.
- Planning on using this light/moderately, not going to use it hours on end everyday. Probably <7 hrs week realistically.
This is all I have come up with so far in my day of research, please let me know what you guys thinks. Thanks!
