Theory about the New killer/update
Over the past few patches we've been getting minor changes to maps, most of them were purely cosmetic, however, they've all had something in common
Green.
In one of the map changes, the temple map had has it's drakoball changed to a blue variant, and then to a green one, which stayed much longer than the blue ball, but that's not all.
On the HQ map, you can see even more subtle signs about green being relevant to something, or someone... If you look closely at the beach outside, there are lots of blue and red umbrellas, but however only one of them is green for some odd reason, maybe hinting that the killer is related to either the sea or sand.
And it keeps getting WORSE!! The recent changes to the teapot paradise map replaced our beloved sleepy teapot to a green one, which is always awake and staring menancily at us.
After all of those evidences, we can make conclusions that the killer, update or even the government is related to green somehow.
The green ball might symbolize a powerful and unstopabble creature... Or worse, it could mean that something like Badware has a bigger influence on the update then we thought of, and he's purposely making it take so long!!
It could also mean that EsterFlowers has something to do with whatever is happening in all of these chaotic changes, why? Because she's also very, very green!!!
Anyways, this is all i could gather from all of these subtle hints we've been getting, i'll try to gather more evidence about green and it's signs
Enegetic and Rest might be bad for future killers
So, the whole point of energetic originally (the first 2 instances of it) was to allow you to catch up to a survivor and not get looped for the whole round, since killers had only 70/65 stamina, however, this is no longer a thing, **ALL** of the current killers have 110 stamina, slightly higher run speed than the survivors and a few habilities which are required in order for you to be able to win the match.
However, for some reason, Energetic and Rest have been re-added for every hit you land, including M1s, and that makes it harder for survivors to escape once they're at M1 distance, the whole point of receiving speed in any asym once you get hit is to prevent you from getting killed super fast once the killer closes the distance on you, but Rest and Energetic are it's counterpart, allowing the killer to run for longer and recover stamina much faster immediatly after landing a hit, so a survivor isn't in a advantage even after being hit since the killer **will** have more stamina.
Those 2 effects feel really strong opressive on rushdown killers, specially on Mimic, making them much stronger than they have ever been, turning them nearly unstopabble, like Ennard once they hit you with his grab attack, this could lead to current and future killers being nerfed and buffed around this one mechanic, and just like old DSD, isn't a good thing, because you're strong with it and nothing without it, so it'd be good to have it removed for now and balance the killers around not having them.
And while i do understand that Killers need to be stronger to survivors since they can last for a really long time, i think that Energetic and Rest are just not it, it could definitely work if these effects were **only** applied to the killer once they've landed an attack, like the axe throw from Springtrap, which would still reward the killer for using his kit properly and incentivize them to use their power wisely, but also giving the survivors a better chance at escaping.
I'm writing this mostly because i don't wanna see Mimic and future strong killers be super nerfed once again because of a **core** game mechanic, they feel fun to play as and don't deserve to be gutted :(
The first one is The Singularity from Dead by Daylight, a sentient and brutal ai that wants to erradicate all humans.
Both of these killers have a playstyle where you are supposed to be a unrelenting killing machine with some tools to help you with it, making sure you're able to end survivors quickly if they make one mistake due to how lethal you are.
Their voice lines are simillar in the way they barely don't scream or laugh like a human, but you can still see their anger, which is why i think he'd be perfect as a skin for Mimic
