I found a pair of Bont prostars in my size for $150 on FB Marketplace. Super happy about my find, but now I’m realizing that they aren’t *parkstars*—they’re for roller derby! No heel, and no ankle support.

I’m used to skating on my Chaya Melrose. Could I use the prostars for park skating?? I’m still pretty much a beginner, but I’m starting to learn to grind / drop in / jump etc and I tend to skate relatively aggressively.

I’m not even sure if grind blocks/slide blocks will fit on there!!

If anybody has experience using prostars for street/park skating pls lmk!! Or any advice—would it be dangerous to use these, with no heel/no ankle support??
