Genuinely curious how stressful setup and teardown must have been for local hands for these shows, especially to have less than 24 hours to change over from FF to MCR sets. Does anyone know if the two acts happenned to use any of the same staging/seating/line arrays/delay towers/lighting? I just can’t imagine it being logistically possible to tear all that down and set a whole other set up in that little time.

I’m looking into getting speakers for an unloaded cab. My goal is to get a super mid forward sound without a lot of the sizzle or bite or top end definition that something like a V30 or an American sounding speaker might have. The goal is sort of the Matamp vibe???? Think QOTSA or sleep. Or for a more indie example the guitar tones on the album “Body Language” by the junior astronomers. Anything where you can hear the breakup of the amp and hear that it’s distorting but get mostly mids. Bonus points if the speakers are on the lighter side or low wattage. So far I’ve been intrigued by the Weber 50 Watt Grey Wolf, eminence cannabis Rex, and celestion greenbacks/creambacks/redbacks. Would love insight from yall! :)

Hi Yall! I’ve been using an Enki for the past three years now, which I LOVE for my solid body guitars. It’s been in vans, trailers, cargo holds on airplanes, you name it. It’s been climbed on by people to access other items in trailers without any noticeable damage to my solid body guitars. I would love to try playing shows with a semi hollow body guitar in the future though, and I was curious if there were any considerations that I would need to take with semihollows that I don’t already take with my solid bodies or one piece bodies for that matter. Would a standard injection mold case still provide the same protections? Would I need to start paying closer attention to climate, humidity, etc?. Would I have to handle an Enki or similar with more care than usual? Would it be recommended that I forego even attempting to fly with the guitar in cargo? Would love to hear from folks who have experience with this. :)
