I was given a dip pen as a gift. They said they got it from Amazon and the new holder itself is fine but the problem is that none of the nibs work that well

I’ve tried all the methods to make them work such as washing with soap or burning them to make them work properly.
But they just don’t so I was wondering where should I buy nibs online that shipped to the UK and are beginner friendly in terms of pricing?
