DTLA Tree Trimming

They are demolishing a row of trees on Flower. I guess a green canopy is something to be protected from in LA

I have a history of heart palpitations at rest and while running. last year I had an EKG and wore a monitor for a week. All came back normal.

Recently I've been having ALOT of them. What concerns me is I have them when running. I recently noticed that there was a heart monitor on my treadmill (the kind you grab onto with your hands) after taking it several times during my 45 minute run today my heart rate was hovering around 180 the whole time. I was running 6.5-7 miler per hour at a zero incline.

180 is very near my max rate which I understand can be different for different people but I was surprised that it was so high considering I don't feel like I'm pushing too hard at 6.5. I've manly been doing 7-7.5 but some days I just am more tired than others.

How accurate are those things. Does anyone else have a high heart rate while running this speed? I've been exercising vigorously for the last 5 months.

I'm going through a really hard period. I have had frequent muscle twitching for years along with gastric symptoms that I'm told are IBS and frequent heart palpitations.

Over a year ago I developed a persistent muscle spasm on the lower left rib adjacent to the lower breastbone. This isn't usually twitchy but more of a periodic brief tightening. It doesn't effect my cardiac rhythm they way a palpitation does but I was still worried it was cardiac. A year ago I had a holder monitor and a lower rib x-ray and both came back normal.

I try my best to ignore it and sometimes I'll go a day or two without feeling it, but recently, I've had a major palpitation flare and frequent muscle spasm feeling in my chest and the worries have roared back. I'm in such a bad spot with it and I just keep telling myself to keep going, it will get better, you're probably not dying etc.

I have anxiety and depression, recently moved and can't find a job, and a history of psychological trauma related to my family joining a doomsday cult when I was kid. We weren't allowed to seek medical care for illness so I think a lot of my health anxiety stems from that.

I'm just mad at myself for relapsing and worrying beyond my control.
