Bullshit Basement Botany Day 5! Better setup! Why is my seedling so short?

Hey y'all, day 5 of my weird basement grow. This time we have improve the setup, instead of shitty tinfoil the whole thing is covered in mylar sheets I bought real cheap on amazon and just made my own tent. This has definitely improved it a bit as it's staying warmer, keeping a tad more humidity in and is just way more visually appealing than my prior mess of tinfoil. I know it looks like a lot of light escapes, but if you look at the last pictures you can see how it really looks inside, super reflective and I think it's pretty cool I can see inside without opening it.

Question: Why is my one seedling so dang short? On picture number 2 (A do si do autoflower) you can see the seedling. It's 5 days old and the leaf is literally at dirt level. On the third slide you can see another seedling (A blue cheese autoflower) and it's sprouted up, looks thick and healthy so far. Can seeds have dwarfism? Did I do something wrong? Is this normal? Should I change something? Any input from someone who knows more than me is appreciated.

Bullshit Basement Botany Day 3! Do these sprouts look normal?

Hey y'all day 3 of this basement grow mess. 2 of the 3 have finally sprouted and I just wanted to check in and make sure everything is normal. These are all autoflowers for anyone who doesn't know.

Question: If you look at picture 2, slightly off center in the bottom direction there's a tiny lil gal, she looks kinda off to me is she ok? A lil crooked in the dirt but already showing the starter leaves thought it'd take longer, is she normal? (You might have to zoom in)

Picture 3 is the sprout of another one I think is normal and picture 4 is the same type of seed that was also already germinated that just hasn't sprouted yet so all you see is dirt!

Note: Hopefully this is post is more visually appealing than the last, I got flamed for posting bad pics and a wall of text lol.

Bullshit Basement Botony Day 2! Why did my little seedling curl up in the dirt while sprouting? Am I screwed already?

Hey y'all, welcome back to the basement. I'm on day 2 of this and the do si do in the back was peeking through the dirt but when I looked at it closer it was practically curled in half, I don't know if that's just part of the process and it was too close to the surface when planted or something else is wrong. I've been lightly spraying near the seedling with a spray bottle in the morning to moisten it a bit, especially since it's not the IDEAL humidity in the area. I've read it could be too much light and it was around 250ppfd where my seedlings where in all 3 pots, so I changed the 78w to blue (it went down to around 140-170ppfd) it's the back one with one pot under it, and dimmed my 100w down to around 40% so the ppfd is also in the same range for the 2 in front. It's in the soil in the last pic, I recovered with a tiny bit of dirt hoping it would encourage it to go straight up towards the light. Am I just crazy because it's so early and was just too shallow or is something else wrong? Please help I've killed enough of these poor guys and I'm gonna run out of seeds soon. Maybe I'm paranoid? Sorry you can't see the seedling in the picture (didn't wanna touch it anymore and stress it) but it essentially looked like a rainbow/boomerang shape in the soil before being put a little deeper, you could sorta see one leaf forming on the end. Humidity stays around 55-60% at around 65-70F hard to get much more than that for me and light cycle is 24/0 because they're autoflowers and the spiderfarmer doesn't have a timer so I have to buy a mechanical plug one. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Bullshit Basement Botany Day 1!

AFTER TAKING ADVICE KILLING SOME PLANTS AND NOT KNOWING WHAT I'M DOING 99% OF THE TIME I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE Y'ALL TO MY BULLSHIT BASEMENT BOTANY! I grabbed a bunch of random shit, bought some seeds and all that jazz and here we are. This is day one, they have just been planted and I will be giving you an overview of what's set up here along with hoping anyone who's done this before or has knowledge helps me along the way.

Setup
It starts with an old card table I found in the garage my grandma let me use, then I found 2 old clothing racks that happened to fit perfectly under the table, I hung a light from each one (78W light from a store my grandma got me) and a Spiderfarmer sf1000 100W grow light that I bought so I could say I have one nice thing in my setup lol. The clothing racks also have tinfoil down the sides, but they aren't connected to the table or each other so I can move the whole thing easily if needed. I've got 3 5-gallon fabric pots filled with a mix of coco coir, vermiculite I found in the garage that's possibly older than I am, perlite that dust attacked me when I opened the bag, and a bunch of kellogs potting soil (Some brand at home depot that's way too woody to grow in alone but I already bought it so I mix some in, maybe the wood eating away the nitrogen in the flowering phase can help later on. The setup also happens to be next to a table that I set a box and a binder covering in foil on to reflect more light. Theres a gap in the corner of the setup near the table that I have a small fan positioned in for airflow when they're ready. Inside I have a tiny humidity reader and thermometer thing, I bought a pack of like 12 because they were cheap and I think I need them to put in jars when it's curing time. In the middle sits a little desktop humidifier I got for a couple bucks that only stays on for 8 hours so I kinda just go downstairs and press the button whenever I remember, it glows rainbow on top. Theres a sheet of foam that I wrapped in tinfoil as well on the side I typically access it from that just sits propped up against the pots for now until I find a better way to hold it up. I've got some slow release 15-7-15 nutrients for vegetative and some 3-12-6 liquid fertilizer for when they're flowering.

What I'm growing
I bought a bunch of seeds, killed them on accident, now I have 2 blue cheese and 1 do si do autoflower under this light. I also MAY put 2 diamondized pine photoperiods outside in a 10-gallon pot of the same mixture.

Thought process
Grandma sad cause grandpa die, me no know what to do me watched him die too, me give her weed so she forgets for a bit. (If that doesn't work I'm brewing booze too!). Me poor but me make this work.

Strategy
24/0 light cycle
Seedling Phase: Right now I'm keeping the seeds slightly moist with a spray bottle, after that I'm just gonna guess how much to water the little seedlings because the pot is massive compared to them right now. Keep humidifier off

Vegetative Stage: Give them the 15-7-15 nutrients as seen fit or guided by the people on reddit who know more than me. Put fan in corner for better air flow. Try my hand at LST so they stay short and bushy because the table is kinda high up to the light, may have to swap tables later on or move to outside if they become too big.

Flowering: Keep the lights cranked up, water when the soil dries up, use liquid fertilizer 3-12-6. Get yelled at by grandma because the basement room stink, stare at the pretty flowers, cut the whole thing when reddit folks tell me it's ready or the lil trichomes are cloudy/dark I think. Hope it's worth it.

After Harvest: Dry it, put it in jars, give a joint to all the family members who thought I never did anything sketchy. Make a bunch of rso for grandma so she can have magic brownies all the time. Possibly find a new hobby if the ADHD doesn't like this one enough. Hopefully have friends.

I'M ALWAYS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO IMPROVE THIS CHEAPLY, ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED PLEASE GUIDE ME IF YOU SEE SOMETHING WRONG.

Advice for temperature/humidity?

Context: So, I've been trying to grow green in my basement for a bit. First few plants died as I learned of course, pretty sure I got most things down, they should do the full grow process now however my main remaining concern is humidity/temperature for the plants. This is a current reading next to my seedlings (a day old) and I'm wondering if this will be sufficient for throughout the grow process. With the humidifier I just got it jumps from around 60-68 and without it it'll drop as low as 50 (It's just a little baby desktop humidifier I'm poor). The temperature ranges anywhere from I've seen as low as 64-65 at night to 68-69 during the day. I bought a heat lamp, realized yeah that's probably a fire hazard and returned it (Also electricity costs would raise a good bit). Anyways I plan to grow 3 autoflowers in 5-gallon fabric pots and 2 photos that will be moved outside into 10-gallon fabric pots (possibly start outside but it's supposed to rain/storm for a week in 2 days from now and that'll probably drown them.)

Setup: My current setup consists of a 78W LED grow light with all the normal settings and light variations that's hanging from a clothing rack that happened to fit perfectly overtop of an old card table. I also have a second clothing rack that fit there as well that I plan to hang a spiderfarmer sf1000 100W on. The clothing racks have a sheet of tinfoil draped down each side to help keep some light in as well as a random binder covered in tinfoil, an old box with tinfoil on it, and a piece of cardboard covered in tinfoil that I kinda have setup around the other 2 sides all ghetto looking n shit to also help keep light in but still be able to move to get to my plants. The soil is a mix of vermiculite, perlite, some sorta woody soil I bought from home depot and some coco coir that I probably need to go buy more of for the photos. Ratios were me kinda eyeballing what was recommended. Theres a small fan that blows in from the corner for airflow. I have vegetative and bloom nutrients for when it's time. I DO NOT HAVE MONEY FOR A GROW TENT AND AN INLINE/EXHAUST FAN AND I READ ITS POINTLESS TO GET A TENT WITHOUT THE FAN ANYWAYS. I KNOW PEOPLE SAY THIS ISN'T A POOR PERSONS HOBBY BUT WE'RE GONNA GET MY GRANDMA SO HIGH SHE FORGETS ABOUT GRANDPA DYING FOR A MINUTE. (Whole traumatic thing I was there for too). We are also brewing booze and growing other things if the weed doesn't help.

My questions are

  1. Can I fully grow a halfway decent plant with these ranges?
  2. Is it worth buying something like a seedling heat mat for them? I was looking at the vivosun 20" x 20.75" seedling heat mat, is this worth getting to sit the fabric pots on even if it just helps a bit?
  3. I've read that it's mostly seedlings where the temperature/humidity is crucial, should I take the risk of buying biodegradable seedling starting pots to start my autos in then just putting that into a 5 gallon fabric pot?
  4. Is there any other inexpensive ways to warm them up?
  5. Is there anything else I should be concerned about/need to do?

THANKS TO ANYONE WHO TOOK ALL THE TIME TO READ THIS SHIT I KNOW IT WAS LONG. IF I DON'T RESPOND I STILL READ AND APPRECIATE ALL ADVICE GIVEN, NEW TO REDDIT AND I DON'T USE IT THAT MUCH. (Y'know except for corn like everyone else...right?)

Why are these stunted?

I planted these seedlings probably close to a month ago. They stunted pretty bad and barely grew but didn't die. Do these leaves reveal anything about it? Im thinking nitrogen deficiency because the soil has a decent amount of wood content. Are these savable if I give them nitrogen (I have 15-7-15 fertilizer available) will they start growing? I have 2 autos and 2 photos, I assume the autos are screwed already but the photos idk. Im also aware the humidity/temp aren't IDEAL, but I've bought a small heater and humidifier to help along with perlite, coco coir and found some vermiculite in the garage from dear old grandma to help the soil for future attempts. They also have a small fan blowing on them from a distance and are getting ROUGHLY 120-150ppfd where they're at right now. P.S. I know you arent supposed to transplant autos, in the future they will be in the starting container.

ALL INFORMATION IS APPRECIATED. STARTING RANDOM HOBBIES FIXES THE DEPRESSION BUT IM AN INDOOR HUMAN WITH NO GARDENING EXPERIENCE SO HELP ME OUT FOLKS.

Cannabis Seedlings Week 3-4 advice? When to start adding nutrients to water?

Somewhere in the 3-4 range of my first grow. Screwed up some so now I'm left with 4. Curious about when to add nutrients or anything else I should be doing. I water them with a spray bottle around the edges every 3-4 days, put a small fan on them from a distance and leave them on a blue light 20/4. Behold my weird setup. I also plan to move them outside at some point as this is all the light I have/can afford. 2 of them are feminized photo periods. 2 are autoflowers with unknown sex.

I have a few varying seedlings I started by the window, I lost a few to stretching already so I moved them to a grow light but they seem so fragile and like nothing is happening now. Any advice? They are under a blue grow light 20/4 right now. First time grower need help.
