This Civil War monument stands in front of the Somerset County Courthouse in Somerset, PA, close to where Flight 93 crashed on 9/11.

On the Avenue of the Republic in Philadelphia will be found the Pennsylvania Civil War Memorial, listing the many Pennsylvanians who contributed to the Union victory. At the top are George Meade and John Reynolds, and just below them Winfield Scott Hancock and George McClellan. Many other names are inscribed on the monument. Equestrian statues of Reynolds and McClellan also stand in front of City Hall in Philadelphia.
