Just wanted to see if anyone can help me out. I needed around $80,000 for a business acquisition. $20,000 will be personal equity. Total purchase price is $100,000.
I saw BDC had an under 100k financing program where it can deliver funds in 10 days. Anybody know anything about that program ?
The business is cash flowing well at $100,000 yearly with majority of it recurring revenue with strong profit clients.
Can anybody help me understand working capital better when acquiring a business ? For example, my understanding is WC is current assets - current liabilities listed on the balance sheet. Would this be the yearly balance sheet I would be looking at ?
Also, why do some business sales say asking price + inventory like restaurants and some say asking price + working capital ? Shouldn’t it be + WC for all?
Wanted to ask a quick question. If I’m a business broker as an example, how would I know to use SDE or EBITDA when advertising the business ?
I saw a pizza store for sale and the agent wrote 120k in EBITA. Wouldn’t it be SDE as pizza stores are owner operated ?
