Hey guys,

Haven't been around for a while, business trips and whatnot.
Hope you've been having a good time, and if not, don't worry - better times are coming.
I've hoped to update my story more than a week ago, but I knew it wasn't finished.
So after hours of editing and adding things, I think it's the best chapter it could've been.
If you've read it, or followed it since before, what are your thoughts?

Hey guys,

I've been having a grand time on this reddit, love the atmosphere.

I've finished my latest chapter. I'm reaching close to 40k words, and man it doesn't feel as if I wrote that much in such a short time.

Here's a small excerpt from the chapter:

Finally a plan arose from that silly blonde that didn’t end up in immediate catastrophe.

Maybe this was the solution?

“Pardon me, Mr Kurosaki, but what exactly do you mean by ‘might’? Do you doubt the one they call Magical Candyman?”

The jazz hands made the scene no better.

Not to mention his rhythmic hip shake.

The horror.

“Yeah, and I bet you fifty that no one calls you that.”

Just who was this man before him?

Maybe some mysteries weren’t meant to be solved?

With a sparkle in his eyes, Kisuke jumped forward and extended his hand for a shake.

He was bluffing, had to be.

Their hands met and shook.

A standoff followed.

Until it was halted by the oddest thing.

“You lose, Kisuke. Give the boy his money.”

A manly voice rang out from the mouth of a pitch-black cat.

Hey people, chapters five and six are out!

I haven't really talked about the themes before. I'm working on my rendition of the canon - which leans heavily towards mystery and adventure. I want it to feel natural, all dialogue and relationships. I'm here for the long haul.

I'll leave an excerpt, something light. :)

“He hasn’t called you guys either?” 

Keigo joined in.

Mizuiro stood beside him.

Texting.

“Why would he call you?”

His eyes didn’t lift from the screen.

“Because we’re best friends?”

“We talking about the same Ichigo here?”

“Of course, who else?”

Mizuiro took a glance at Keigo.

“That’s concerning. I’ll need to have a serious talk with him when he’s back.”

I thought making a new summary that explained a bit more would add interest.

Hello everyone,

I've recently re-read Bleach and I felt the same way I had all those years ago, when I wrote my first fic. I didn't really like the ending to Bleach, there were so many not so subtle expositions about Ichigo not being able to return to the world of the living, but then in the end he's all grown up, an adult, married with children. So all those years ago I wrote a really shoddy fanfiction, that somehow got a lot of attention. I wasn't really good at it, but I had the inspiration and drive to write, and so I did. I ended up getting writers block and my interest faded as I wasn't happy with what I wrote, and I had no consistency in my work back then. My reader really started to hate it.

And that's fine, I'm not a fan of it either. But I do love the idea that started it all, which was; what would've happened if Rukia was late arriving at Ichigo's that one fateful night.

Since the one and only pairing I could even see in that whole universe being IchiRuki, I have to write it about them, but with the twist being that it's not centered on romance, so I can take my time developing their relationship.

I now have began with my re-imagined edition, it is as fresh as they come, or at least I hope it is. As I don't really read FFs, but I sure love writing this one.

I usually never self promote, but I really want to know if it's any good and if people enjoy it, or if it's actually even worse than what I wrote some 10 years ago.
