ArrowFlow vs FreePath – I built two arrow puzzle

ArrowFlow vs FreePath – I built two arrow puzzle games because my son kept telling me what was wrong 😂 – Free

App Name: ArrowFlow & FreePath

What it does:

My son is completely obsessed with those arrow/path puzzle games, so I decided to build one myself. 😄

I built the first version, ArrowFlow, and let him play it. His verdict was basically: “It’s boring. It should feel more like the real arrow game.” So I went back to the drawing board and built FreePath, reusing the same game engine but changing the gameplay and presentation based on his feedback.

ArrowFlow:

FreePath:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.krackit.freepath

Key Features:

Arrow/path-based puzzle gameplay

Increasing difficulty with different puzzle challenges

Built from scratch as an independent project

Both versions are currently free on Google Play

Goal: Testing / getting honest feedback

I've published both on the Play Store, but I'm not sure whether I should keep both or focus on one.

I'd really appreciate feedback from people who actually play this type of game:

Which one do you prefer — ArrowFlow or FreePath?

Is FreePath actually closer to what you'd expect from a "real" arrow puzzle game, or should I keep improving ArrowFlow?

And if you were me, would you keep both apps on the Play Store, or concentrate on one and remove the other?

Please be brutally honest. I'm a solo developer, so real user feedback is much more useful to me than trying to guess what people want. 🙂

I spent months building this Android app as a solo developer. I'd really appreciate your honest feedback.

Hi everyone,

I'm an independent Android developer, and over the past several months I've been teaching myself app development (through youtube) while working on my own projects. Earlier I have published apps but that was not good enough to attract users.

I don't ave a team, a designer, or a marketing budget—just a laptop and a lot of late nights learning and building.

This is one of the apps I've created, and I'd genuinely love to know what you think.

What it offers:

  • Modern Material Design UI
  • Fast and lightweight
  • Question bank, exam-like quizzes, explanations, progress tracking.
  • Regular updates based on user feedback

Google Play: LInk

I'm not looking for downloads out of pity. If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate:

  • What was your first impression?
  • What would you improve?
  • Would you keep this app installed?

Every comment helps me become a better developer.

Thank you for taking the time to check it out. ❤️
