Very disappointed with GOO GOO Hair extensions – questionable quality

I wanted to share my experience with GOO GOO Hair because I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the extensions I received.

I purchased them as 100% human hair, but after washing them according to the care instructions provided by the company, the results were awful. I used sulfate-free products, lukewarm water, low heat, and a diffuser. I did not bleach, flat-iron, or chemically straighten the hair.

After washing, the curl pattern did not hold properly, the hair became very frizzy and uneven, and most importantly, the density is extremely poor. From around the middle of the length down, the hair becomes very thin and sparse, with almost transparent ends. They look nothing like the quality I expected from 100% human hair.

I also took a small strand to my hairstylist so we could test it. We bleached a small section, and it turned pink and started falling apart/disintegrating during the process. My stylist was also suspicious that the hair was actually human hair. He pointed out that the hair looked unusually shiny and that the texture was extremely smooth/slippery compared with what he would expect from human hair.

Obviously, I can't claim with certainty what the hair is made of based solely on this test, but combined with the appearance, texture, extremely low density toward the ends, and how it reacted to bleaching, I have serious concerns about whether the product is actually what was advertised.

I have contacted GOO GOO Hair customer service and requested a full refund. I’m currently waiting to see how they handle the situation.

I'm posting this as a warning for anyone considering buying their extensions, especially the curly/wavy ones. Please do your research and be careful before spending your money.

I’ll update this post if GOO GOO offers a resolution.

Has anyone else experienced this with GOO GOO Hair? Did their customer service actually give you a solution or a full refund?

WARNING: Very disappointed with GOO GOO Hair extensions – questionable quality

I wanted to share a product review regarding GOO GOO Hair extensions based on the set I recently received.

I purchased them advertised as 100% human hair, but after washing them according to the company's care instructions (sulfate-free products, lukewarm water, low heat, diffuser, no chemical treatments), the results were disappointing.

The curl pattern did not hold, the hair became very frizzy, and the ends lack fullness. From the middle of the length down, the strands become very hollow and uneven, which isn't what I expected from this price point.

I took a small strand to my hairstylist for a test. We bleached a tiny section, and it turned pink and began disintegrating during the process. My stylist noted the texture felt unusually synthetic/coated and shiny for human hair.

While I can't scientifically confirm the exact blend, the reaction to bleach and the overall construction raise serious concerns about the advertised materials.

I have contacted customer service for a refund and am currently waiting for their response. Has anyone else experienced this with GOO GOO Hair? Did their customer service actually give you a solution or a full refund?

Just sharing my honest review for anyone researching this brand!

Agradezco la ayuda desde ya!!{

I have a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GPU and need help choosing a CPU

Hi everyone! How's it going?

As the title says, I have a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GPU, and I'm building my PC.

I'll mainly be using it for gaming, both online multiplayer and single-player games.

I want to stick with the AM4 platform because it's more affordable.

I'm trying to decide between the Ryzen 5 5500X3D and the Ryzen 7 5700X. Which one would you recommend?

Thanks!

Edit:

Here's a bit more context since a few people asked.

This PC is actually for a friend. She currently has a PS4 and has always wanted to switch to PC gaming, but she isn't really sure what types of games she'll enjoy yet.

Right now she mostly plays GTA V, FIFA, and a WWE game on her PS4 because she doesn't want to spend a lot of money buying more games. I told her that on PC she'll have a lot more options—she can buy games during Steam sales, claim the free games that Steam and Epic Games give away, and there are other, more flexible ways to get games as well.

She also wants to play online with me, but the idea is for her to experiment with different genres and figure out what she enjoys the most, whether that's single-player or multiplayer games.

22" or 24" on 170 gr wavy hair extensions?

Hi everyone!

I'm planning to buy 2A–2B human hair extensions, but I can't decide between 22" (170g) and 24" (170g).

I'm 5'4" (163 cm), and my natural hair reaches just above my chest (photo attached).

Just to clarify, in the photo my hair is straightened at the top, and I brushed out the waves, but my natural hair is actually wavy.

I'll also be modifying the wefts into individual 1g keratin-tip (K-tip) extensions, so they'll be installed strand by strand rather than worn as wefts.

Since both options weigh 170g, I'm wondering if the 24" version looks noticeably less dense than the 22" because the same amount of hair is spread over a longer length.

If you were in my position, would you go for more length or more visible density? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences, especially if you've tried both lengths or have experience making your own K-tip extensions.

I will buy them on Goo Goo page.

Sorry I have use IA for translate my question, because my english is a little bit rough.

Thanks! 🙂
