As a paranoid smaller built female with little to none self defense skills, where is the safest place outdoors to go for a run in the Lynchburg/Forest area alone in the early evenings (before/after work hours)? Preferably a popular busy park with a lot of people nearby at all times, where least amount of crime happens.

Edit - I’m also open to a recommended high school/local track if it’s accessible and safe
